Hear how Kate and Erin forged a friendship in the foxholes of early medical training and found a lifelong sisterhood based in love, service and lots of laughter.  After 9/11 turned our world upside down in their last year of medical school, Kate made a decision that would initiate her deployment to Iraq and spark an entire medical career dedicated to the care of our deserving service members.
