    Racism

There is the hypocrisy when it comes to certain people who claim to be ‘Christian’s’ while also carrying hatred for their neighbours. We are given the commandment of loving our neighbours yet a lot of people who hide behind Christianity, operate in the evilness that’s called racism. We need to hold more people accountable when talking about topics within our community. We shouldn’t be silent on these matters because racism has been prominent in Christian spaces , and if we don’t tackle it now, we never will.

    Church

A podcast while doing your walking workout sounds a bit strange ..but that’s what I did! and today’s topic is about the Church and how we need discernment to avoid falling into the wrong leadership. It’s imperative to surround yourself with people who will encourage your walk with Christ, instead of those who make you comfortable in your sin. There are some churches that blend in with the world and lead people astray, and we need to have the discernment to decipher which ones we should avoid. Pray to the LORD for guidance , get into the Word of the LORD, and be vigilant.

  3. Apr 23

    Faith over Adversity

Daniel 3 introduced us to Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, the three men who were emboldened by their faith. They remained obedient to the LORD and didn’t fall into societal expectations. As Christian’s, the world can be so loud especially when its expectations is plastered all over our social media. However, we are not of the world, and we should never let the world destroy our obedience to the LORD. Stay true to your faith , and remember the LORD is with you always.

    Beauty from the LORD

Do you sometimes stare off into the distance, but take in the beauty of the world around you? We have been given so much beauty from the LORD, but the demands of this world make it harder to take in the amazing creations. Whether it’s a 9-5 or other things occupying our space, we need to take a moment of reflection and thanksgiving, as we give the LORD praise for creating us, and giving us the freedom of Grace

    Social Media

While social media can be seen as beneficial for believers to spread the Gospel, it can also be a pit of comparison and unhealthy habits. We need to realise that our new identity in Christ enables for us to stay away from what the world deems as desirable. We need to change the way we behave with social media to prevent falling into the pit of the world that’s filled with anxiety and doubt.

  6. Apr 16

    Loneliness

Loneliness as a Christian will often feel isolating. However, the more we inquire of the LORD’s plans, the more we are able to understand his will for us. When we isolate ourselves from the world, there is the permanent separation from things that no longer benefit our lives. The LORD will eventually surround us with likeminded people.

  7. Apr 15

    Identity in Christ

Sometimes we tend to use the world to help us form our identities. However, that should never be the case, because the path of the world will lead to destruction. The world is full of sin and darkness, and that should never be our dwelling place. When we place the LORD God at the centre, we allow him to form us into his will, and accomplish his plans for us.
