#5. What do it mean to be Soulmaxxing? | Soorena & Daniel

What if the real bottleneck to living your best life isn't time, money, or circumstance — but unresolved conflict with yourself and others? In this candid and wide-ranging conversation, Soorena introduces Daniel to his "Soul Accelerator" project: a small-container experiment designed to help people identify their heart's deepest desires, turn them into a structured path, and actually live them — not just dream about them. Daniel opens up about the tension he's navigating as a new father and husband: the gap between who he's always been (curious, musical, hungry for belonging) and the life he's currently living. Together, they explore what it really means to belong versus just fit in, why the things that feel impossible are often the most worth chasing, and how you'd even know if your soul was growing. In this episode: 🌱 What is a "Soul Accelerator" — and why it's not a podcast🎯 How to set a North Star that actually scares you🤝 Belonging vs. fitting in — and why most of us have been chasing the wrong one🧬 Inheriting values you've never questioned (and what to do about it)🤖 Why AI has become Daniel's creative co-pilot📖 Soorena's book God — what it means to live in alignment with who you actually are🎸 Daniel performs an Ed Sheeran song live to close it outThey also dig into why the things that feel impossible are exactly the ones worth chasing, how curiosity can take dark forms, and what "win-win-win" dynamics look like when people stop performing and start becoming. Topics covered: soul development, belonging vs. fitting in, identity, personal values, fatherhood, community, AI as a creative tool, conflict resolution, and what "living in alignment" actually looks like in practice.

    #3. Hov's Entry

What does it look like to build a life around transformation — your own and other people's? In this episode, Soorena sits down with Hov (Hovhannes), a friend from online who was literally sold by the promise of suffering when he signed up for this project. They cover a lot of ground: Soorena shares why he moved to the Netherlands to facilitate psilocybin journeys, went through a divorce, and spent time retreating from everything — including X — to rebuild on a more honest foundation. Hov opens up about his own decade-long arc from zealous atheist missionary to a person grounded in something resembling faith, and how a long stretch of unemployment and solitude cracked that path open. Together they dig into what Aligned Sentience actually is — the idea that putting people on their deepest quests, in the same room, will inevitably produce conflict, and that conflict, properly held, is exactly the point. They talk about "hell loops," the difference between avoiding a problem and transforming it, and why most conflicts fail not because people are wrong but because there's no track record of vulnerability actually being safe. The conversation wanders into Richard Dawkins, Kanye West, imaginary conversations with Hitler, and why the world's biggest problems might just be small conflicts at scale. Hov's quest, spoken out loud here for the first time: a world where his son doesn't have to waste energy processing things that shouldn't exist. Raw, warm, and unexpectedly funny — this is what it sounds like when two people actually talk.

    #1. Touching nerves

A real-time exploration of relational depth between Soorena and Sannah, where emotional triggers, fear of loss, and pattern awareness are brought into the open without defensiveness. This session reveals how conscious partners engage with tension—not by avoiding it, but by using it as signal. As vulnerability meets structured reflection, the dynamic is examined at both the emotional and systemic level. What emerges is a living example of a relationship that doesn’t rely on comfort, but on clarity, presence, and the shared commitment to grow through what arises. Core ThemesAttachment & Fear of Loss Sensitivity to signals of disconnection or abandonment, rooted in past relational patterns.Pattern Recognition in Relationships Actively interpreting moments as part of larger dynamics—seeking to understand “where this is going.”Different Processing Styles Analytical, pattern-based inquiry vs. in-the-moment flow and emotional presence.Triggering as a Growth Mechanism “Touching nerves” as a way of surfacing deeper truths and unresolved material.Clarity vs. Softness High precision in naming problems contrasted with the need for gentler, stabilizing responses.Safety & Reassurance Ongoing negotiation of emotional safety—balancing honesty with reassurance of commitment.Relational Feedback Loops Small moments quickly scaling into reflections on the entire dynamic.Co-Regulation Under Pressure Navigating tension in real-time while staying connected and constructive.
