    28 Dey Do Dough Don't Dey Dough

    The Fawkers discuss regional British and Irish accents, their history, where and how they originated, as well as giving their best impressions of how different syllables and inflections may affect pronunciation. A very light hearted and silly episode which asks the big questions... How can the majority of the East Midlands speak so correctly, when they are surrounded by some of the strongest and most diverse regional dialects in Britain? Does the West Country accent sound similar to the East Anglian one? Especially given that everyone in-between has a very different accent. Is there such a thing as a generic used cars salesman accent? Let alone a golf club salesman. The Fawkers may only manage to scratch the surface of English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish accents, with a couple of American ones thrown in for good measure, but the fact remains, what, why and how does an accent come about? Or aboot? What effect did and have the Beatles had on dispersing (if not eradicating) the received pronunciation which was once such a popular export? The incredible Bristolian actor Archie Leach gets a mention, but only for his RP doppelganger Cary Grant. Our apologies in advance to the people of Liverpool and its surrounding towns, but you do have the best sense of humour in the UK, so we're sure that you will take it with the spirit of fun and jest as it was intended. Also, our apologies to the neighbours of the fairly new created Merseyside (That Lancashire lot) for you not being born in Yorkshire. Keep on longnecking.... Longneckers!     27 Law Abiding Subject

    The Fawkers tackle how British subjects are being subjugated to draconian style modern laws in Britain, often in the name of progress, diversity and other buzz words. The restrictions placed on the residents of Gosport in Hampshire to make way for the 'boat people'. Stringing together short pieces on the ridiculous failures of the ongoing early release scheme, the lack of mutual respect between the police and the subjects. Was Richard Dawkins right about the behaviour of the blood sucking bats, or is he bat shit crazy? Should cousin marriage be illegal, considering it increases genetic irregularities in new born babies by at least 6%? Do people always need a bogeyman whom they can hate?     26 The Death Of Putin

    The Fawkers discuss the ramifications of the inevitable death of the Russian leader, and the expected fall out from the onlooking west. They ask the key questions... What will world war three be? How will world war three look? How will world war three feel? How and where will world war three start, if it has not already started? This moves into how reality is perceived when that reality is brought to us in stunning 4K resolution and surround sound by the 'fact checkers' themselves. Post Truth is now Fake News. Will all of the various and very (supposedly) different AI paradigms end up working together or is it a battle to be top dog. If a system has no ego and no sense of self preservation, could it, and would it compete for first place, or would it take the moral high ground and cooperate for the greater good?     24 Life Is A Rollercoaster

    The Fawkers discuss their own imaginations of a great theme park, and furthermore theme park rides in particular. Barry provides a unique take on the future of how theme parks may exist when combined with technology (Hot dog fans look away now). Steve furnishes the listeners with an epic idea of a park and specifically a ride that are both drawn from Greek mythology. Dave struggles to come up with any substance of quality, but briefly mentions plenty of quantity. The usual amount of profanity is heard throughout, and indeed from the get go.     The closing of many high street and town/city centre banks has had a drastic knock on effect of the popularity of the UK towns and cities.     22 The Perfect Funeral

    The Fawkers tackle the normally morose subject of death, and look into whether it should be orchestrated whaling, or if our approach should be one of celebration. Without being too mawkish they discuss how they would like their funeral plans to play out, and which elements they find appealing from various cultures. As you would expect from the Fawkers, this quickly descends into madness, and although the subject matter could be considered serious, they just cannot contain themselves and revert back to been the natural born piss-takers that they are.
