This is where we press pause on life long enough to hear ourselves think—to reflect on our story, shared humanity, and the ideas and people who shaped us along the way. Lucid Commons builds community by cultivating clarity around what it means to be human, one lucid moment at a time. Reflecting on the science and soul of our shared humanity led me to the big, beautiful question in the Age of AI: What does it mean to be human? A few ideas: storytelling, suffering, empathy, connection, community, altruism, exploration, creation, evolution, autonomy, phronesis. But who really knows? That’s why I’m asking.
