That Voice Saying You're Not Enough Is Killing You #5

In 1 Timothy 4:12, we are called to reject the voices of disbelief and become the example God called us to be.There will always be voices telling you that you’re not enough, that you can’t do it, or that you’ll never become who God called you to be. Some of those voices come from people around you, and some come from the battle inside your own mind. But while those voices try to hold you back, the voice of God is calling you forward to be an example.Which voice will you listen to?-----Below are two points and supporting verses:1. Don't Invite The Vampires InThe voices of disbelief are a parasite that will drain the life from you. We are called to reject these voices and listen to the voice of God instead.‭‭Genesis‬ ‭4‬:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬“If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.””John 10:10 (ESV)“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” 2. Be What You Want To SeeIt is easy to get bitter when you do not see Christians exemplify what Jesus called us to be. The fact that if bothers you means you are called to be different. Be the example you wish was showcased to you. James 1:22 (ESV) “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”P.S. Over the next 5 weeks we will be breaking down what it means to exemplify speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Stay tuned because it will be full of good stuff. -----Biblical truth applied to everyday life.Practical wisdom to help you grow, think clearly, and follow Jesus daily.

Why You Feel Empty and Restless… When Everything Gets Quiet #4

Matthew 11:28 is an invitation from Jesus to anyone who feels weary and burdened. He calls us to come to Him—not with our strength, but with our need—and promises a kind of rest that goes deeper than physical relief. In a world full of pressure, striving, and noise, this verse reminds us that true peace is found not in what we do, but in who we trust. --- Below is the 3 points and supporting verses: 1. We Are All Homesick That empty restless feeling that you have when your head hits the pillow at night isn't a problem that you need to solve, its a call to come home. C.S. Lewis “Mere Christianity” “If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.” 1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV "‬‬Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.‭‭." 2. Home Is Spelled J-E-S-U-S Jesus has finished the work that will provide true rest in our souls and when we trust in Him we can lay in that rest. Philippians 4:6–7 "Do not be anxious about anything… and the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." 3. It's Time To Come Home If you have never put your faith in Jesus then now is your chance to be reconciled to God. If you have accepted Jesus but do not feel his rest, it's time to trust Him with your heart and not just your Hands. John 14:2–3 "In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." --- Practical wisdom to help you grow, think clearly, and follow Jesus daily.

This One Thing Controls Your Entire Life #3

Podcast Summary: Proverbs 4:23 reminds us to guard our hearts above everything else, because it shapes the direction of our lives. In this episode, I break down what it really means to “guard your heart,” why it matters, and how it affects your thoughts, choices, and life. This is about being intentional with what you allow in—because what gets in will eventually come out. 3 Points and Supporting Verses: 1. What You Consume Is What You Become What we let into our space is directly influencing who we are and over time creates our character. Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 13:20 (NIV) “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” 2. What You Are Is What You Reproduce We recreate who we are not what we want. Our influence is an overflowing of our character. Genesis 1:11–12 (NIV)“Then God said, ‘Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.’ And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.” Matthew 7:17–18 (NIV)“Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.” 3. Be Careful What You Consume If what you consume is what you become, and what you are is what you overflow, the be extremely selective with what you let influence you. It will literally determine where you go in this life and the next. 1 Corinthians 6:19 (NIV)“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.” ----- I take biblical truth and apply it to everyday life. Practical wisdom to help you grow, make better decisions, and follow Jesus daily. What It Means To Commit To Jesus #2

Podcast Summary: “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” — Luke 9:23 In this episode, I break down what it actually means to commit your life to Jesus. Not just words or belief—but daily surrender. We talk about what it looks like to deny yourself, carry your cross, and follow Him when it’s uncomfortable, inconvenient, and real. This is about real obedience, not surface-level faith. 3 Points and Supporting Verses: 1. Stop Trusting in Yourself and Start Trusting God We don’t rely on our own understanding because we don’t see the full picture. Instead, we trust what God says because He is all-knowing. Proverbs 3:5 (NIV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” 2. Focus on the Opportunity, Not the Burden The weight of the cross is real, but our focus shouldn’t stay on the weight. We should focus on the opportunity to be part of God’s kingdom. Genesis 12:1–3 (NIV) "Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” 3. Make It a Part of Your Nature When you follow Jesus daily, it becomes a habit. You don’t need to be told by others or even remind yourself—you just do it because it’s who you’ve become. Proverbs 6:6–8 (NIV) “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.” ----- I take biblical truth and apply it to everyday life. Practical wisdom to help you grow, make better decisions, and follow Jesus daily. Follow along and keep growing—learning to live this out one day at a time.
