    Phoebe Handsjuk

    Send us Fan Mail This is the case that lives rent free in my mind, and I feel like I'm even more confused and have even more questions after researching this case. On the night of December 2, 2010, Phoebe Handsjuk was found in the trash room of the swanky apartment building. At the time, she was living with her boyfriend, Ant Hampel, in that same apartment building. This case is considered solved, but it still feels very unsolved to me because we still don't exactly know what happened to Phoebe. The work that the police did seems to be not fully complete. I hope one day we can get answers to those questions.     Amanda Jones

    Send us Fan Mail On August 14, 2005, Amanda Kay Jones disappeared from the Hillsboro Civic Center in Hillsboro, Missouri. Amanda was a 26 year-old single mother where she lived in Hillsboro, Missouri with her 4 year old daughter, Hannah. At the time of her disappearance, she was 8 and a half months pregnant with a child she was planning to name Hayden Lucas. Since she went to meet Bryan Westfall at the Civic Center, she has not been seen again. Please see the description of Amanda below and if you have any information, please contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Amanda is a Caucasian female has brown hair with blonde highlights, and blue eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was 8 and a half months pregnant. She wears glasses and has pierced ears. She also has a tattoo of a dolphin on her left breast. She was last seen wearing a pink sleeveless blouse, a pink and white flowery skirt, and pink shoes. She is reported being 5-foot-8-inches and weighing 215-225 pounds at the time of her disappearance.  The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward for any information about her disappearance. On December 6, 1991 four teenaged girls between the ages of 13 and 17 were murdered in a yogurt shop. For over 30 years this case was unsolved, but recently the case has been solved.     The Chicago Tylenol Murders

    Send us Fan Mail This week Maddie covers the Chicago Tylenol murders. This case involves a series of poisonings that happened in theChicago metropolitan area due to drug tampering in 1982. The victims consumed Tylenol branded acetaminophen powder filled capsules that had been filled with potassium cyanide. At least 7 people died in the original poisonings, but there were several more deaths due to copycat crimes.     Disappearance of Maura Murray

    Send us Fan Mail In this week's episode, Maddie is covering the mysteriouscase of Maura Murray. On February 9, 2004 Maura disappeared after a caraccident. When the police arrived at the scene she wasn't at the scene and wasnever seen again. The description of Maura Murray is that she was last seen onsurveillance footage earlier in the day at an ATM wearing a dark jacket andjeans. Prior to that, Murray had left the University of Massachusetts Amherst,where she was studying nursing. Murray did not share with others her pendingtrip to New Hampshire, which was about 2.5 hours away. Murray received prioreducation at the United States Military Academy at West Point, was an avidrunner, and enjoyed hiking in the White Mountains.
