The Full Moon Eclipse Has More For You!

Shadow work isn't always some big excavation. Sometimes it's just noticing which word on the page makes you flinch, and following that thread. The morning after the full moon in Pisces, I read the Pisces passage from Lily Ashwell's Heavenly Bodies Astrology deck out loud, and used it the way I use everything with my one-to-one clients: listen more than once, let it drop in while your focus is elsewhere, then watch what surfaces. This is where thread pulling comes in. The aha rarely lands in the moment. It shows up in a dream, or a conversation two days later, and then you can trace the thread back and keep pulling. The real shadow work here is simple. Don't hunt for the keywords you nod at. Notice the ones that pull a bit of resistance out of you, because that's usually the biggest thread of all. IN THIS EPISODE: - Why the full moon energy isn't finished when the moon peaks - Reading someone else's words out loud, and why the frequency lands - Thread pulling, and how the ahas weave together drop by drop - Working with the Pisces keywords, from intuition to escapism - Why the word that triggers you matters more than the one you agree with KEY MOMENTS: 00:00 The full moon eclipse isn't done with you 01:00 The deck I've loved for years 02:00 Listen while you do the dishes 03:00 Thread pulling, drop by drop 05:00 The Pisces keywords, gift and shadow 06:00 Follow the word that makes you flinch "Sometimes that shadow aspect is right in front of you, and that's the biggest thread to start pulling." A note on the book: the passage isn't reproduced in the written version, out of respect for the author. Listen to the episode to hear it read in full, or get the deck for yourself. The Intuition Is Limited To The Lens You Read It Through

EPISODE TITLE Trusting Your Intuition Isn't as Simple as It Feels Trusting your intuition sounds simple, until you realise it's reading through a lens you never chose. A spider, a broken night's sleep and a Pisces full moon showed me exactly how that works. The night before the Pisces full moon my third eye went wide open, and every flicker in the corner of my eye got read as a threat, because a spider had crossed my bed a couple of weeks earlier. Same experience, completely different lens. Your intuition doesn't run separately from your brain and your body. It runs through them, which means what feels like a clean knowing is often your intuition reading the data that's already in the room. In business that matters, because trusting your intuition and being aware of the lens you're reading it through are two different skills. This one is about the second skill, and why it's the next layer of the work for sensitive, heart-led women. IN THIS EPISODE: - Why the same experience reads completely differently depending on your lens - What the third eye does in your waking life, not just your dreams - How your intuition quietly reads the data that's already around you - The Pisces full moon and why it cracks the third eye open - Growing into a new lens, and why your old way of teaching wasn't wrong KEY MOMENTS: 00:00 The spider that crossed the bed 01:00 Asking Spirit to deal with it, and the energy that stayed 02:00 Peripheral flickers and Pisces dream state 03:00 The lens you're reading everything through 04:00 When intuition is really reading your data 06:00 Grow taller, see further "What is the lens that I am viewing this through?" READ THE WRITTEN VERSION: I wrote this one up properly, with the spider story and the business bit laid out so you can actually use it. Mammograms, Moments and Memories

Human Connection in Business: Mammograms and Moments Human connection in business gets talked about constantly right now, mostly as a line people say about AI. Then a stranger in a hospital waiting room said two words to me and I understood what everyone is actually reaching for. Last week I went for an ultrasound on a lump I'd found in my breast. Everything is fine, and I say that at the top of the episode too, so you're not listening to this holding your breath. But the day cracked something open. I talk about the inner child work I did that morning before the appointment, and the sentence I heard her say that I'd been carrying since I was about four years old. I talk about the beach I meet her at, and the six-foot canvas of that exact beach that was hanging on the waiting room wall, which I only saw because I hadn't reached for my book or my phone. And then I talk about the woman who was there with her mum, who turned to me on her way out and said "good luck." That's it. She didn't ask me a single question. She didn't need my story to reach me. Over a week later I still can't tell it without my voice going, and it has changed how I'm thinking about what depth in this work actually means. This one is for anyone who has been taught that serving people well means going harder, going deeper, and proving how much you know. Human connection in business might ask far less of you than that, and land far heavier. IN THIS EPISODE: Doing the bare minimum in your business during a hard week, and why that is a complete answer The inner child work I ran the morning of the hospital appointment What my four-year-old self believed about hospitals, and how long I'd carried it without noticing The synchronicity in the waiting room that I would have missed entirely if I'd got my book out The two words a stranger said to me, and why women supporting women lands differently than anything else Why connecting with your audience may not require the depth you think it does KEY MOMENTS: 00:00 Last week was a s**t show, and why doing only the deliverables is allowed 01:00 The hospital, the lump, and everything being fine 02:00 Why hospitals carry so much charge for me 03:00 Meeting my inner child at the beach before the appointment 04:00 "But hospitals is where bad stuff happens" 05:00 Sat in the waiting room with no book, no phone, and what I saw on the wall 07:00 The woman, her mum, and the two words 09:00 What this means for how we work, and what I still don't have answers on FROM THE EPISODE: "She just said good luck. That was it, and I knew that she knew." Patience still requires action

EPISODE TITLE How Long It Takes To Grow On Social Media If you're asking how long it takes to grow on social media, the honest answer is not seven days. This episode is about why your content might not be moving yet, and why that is not the same thing as it not working. I pulled an oracle card for today's message and got patience, which made me laugh, because it's the exact thing that's been triggering me. I'm in a social media community where some people have had huge growth in the last thirty days, and other people are turning up frustrated after a week that their views haven't jumped from 200 to 10,000. Some content was never designed for the masses. It's built for a very specific, very aligned group of people, and that doesn't move fast on a platform built for volume. That isn't a failure of the content. It's a mismatch of expectation and timeline. So this one is about patience in business, and what it actually is. Not sitting still and waiting to be rescued by the algorithm. Not head-butting the same wall for the fourth year running either. Seven days isn't a commitment. Fourteen isn't. A month isn't. When you're devoted to something you're doing it for years, and the overnight success you're comparing yourself to took ten of them. I also get into the yang half of this, the part where you still have to take the actions, tweak the thing, change the thing, and stop repeating what's clearly not landing. IN THIS EPISODE: Why asking how long it takes to grow on social media is usually the wrong question What to do when your content is aligned but slow, and why that's a real category The difference between wanting it sooner and sitting in why isn't this happening for me Why seven, fourteen and twenty-one days are not commitments Head-butting the wall versus punching a different one What patience actually is as a frequency, and why it feels so uncomfortable KEY MOMENTS: 00:00 The oracle card that made me laugh 00:01 Why some content isn't built for the masses 00:02 It took me ten years to become an overnight success 00:03 Seven days isn't a commitment 00:04 The yang half: you still have to take the actions 00:05 Patience as a frequency of knowing FROM THE EPISODE: "Patience isn't just sitting and doing nothing. Patience is a frequency of knowing." Witnessed Challenge: Day 11 - HER Voice is a Weapon of Truth

Morning Anchor Ritual: Make It Stick After A morning anchor ritual is what stops eleven days of inner work evaporating the moment the portal closes. This is the final episode of the Witnessed challenge, and it's about building the smallest possible trigger back into your highest self voice. Julie is clear that this doesn't have to be first thing. The shower, the dog, the school run, the breakfast, all of that can happen first. What matters is that something sits between the adulting and the work, so you enter client work, emails and content from truth and intuitive authority rather than from whatever the morning handed you. The instruction is to keep it very, very simple and build it into what you already do. If you have a gratitude practice, extend it upward to your higher self. If you don't, it can be a keyword, an image, a phrase, or a feeling, written on a post-it on the mirror, on your desk, or next to the coffee. She also reframes gratitude here as something you can direct at what's coming rather than what's been, celebrating the outcomes that voice has already produced and how much easier it gets to swap back into it. The episode closes on celebration. Whether you actioned every day or just listened and let it land, it compounds. Go back to day one, read what you wrote, relisten if you want, and notice the shift. You've witnessed more of yourself this week than you probably realise. IN THIS EPISODE: Why the anchor doesn't have to be the first thing you do Building the ritual into a routine you already have Extending a gratitude practice up to your higher self Gratitude for what's coming rather than what's been Why compounding beats one and done Going back to day one to see the shift for yourself KEY MOMENTS: 00:00 Her voice, and what today's task is 00:30 Doing the adulting first, and where the moment actually fits 01:00 Extending an existing gratitude practice 02:00 Celebrating the voice and the results it's given you 02:30 Post-it notes, mirrors, desks and coffee, wherever you'll meet it 03:00 Why this compounds, and going back to revisit day one "The power comes when you compound this, rather than it being one and done." Day 10 Witnessed Challenge: Set Your Metrics + Listen

Energetic Boundaries: Why Visibility Drains You Energetic boundaries are the missing piece for anyone who wants more visibility and then dreads actually getting it. This episode is about why being witnessed costs you more than being seen, and where the leak usually is. Julie opens with something she sees constantly in content communities. Someone gets a sudden jump in views and immediately asks how many comments they're supposed to answer, how many DMs they have to reply to, how they're meant to cope. We all want the visibility, and then the next problem arrives the moment we have it. Her framing is that boundaries aren't about pushing people away. They're a standard, and the standard should be visible from the front door of your business, on your social, on your sales page, wherever people first meet you. Then the part that catches people out. The block usually isn't in the area you want the result in. If you're showing up constantly and wondering why nothing's connecting, the exposure may be somewhere else entirely, in a relationship, in your family, in the thing you've been avoiding because setting the boundary would mean a conversation you don't want to have. The task is naming one area of life where you're triggered or exhausted because a boundary isn't in place. Not cutting anyone off, but building a structure that sustains you. And the image she got while recording: farmland after a storm, walking the electric fences, checking nothing's gone slack. IN THIS EPISODE: Why boundaries belong in a visibility challenge at all The question that comes up every time someone's content takes off Why being witnessed exposes you more than being seen does Why the energetic leak is usually in a different area of your life Setting a boundary without cutting people off The fence line image, and what integrity actually looks like here KEY MOMENTS: 00:00 Boundaries as a standard, visible from your front door 00:30 Why consistency feels like it takes from you 01:00 What happens when it goes viral, and the panic that follows 02:00 Being witnessed means being more exposed 03:00 The task, and looking at partners, family and the difficult conversations 04:00 Farmland after the storm, checking the fences are still in integrity "A lot of the time it's because there's an energetic exposure somewhere else that needs looking at." Witnessed Day 9 - Identity over Income

Money Mindset for Spiritual Business Owners Money mindset for spiritual business owners carries a layer that most business advice never touches: the very public idea that you shouldn't earn from spiritual gifts at all. This episode unpicks that, and looks at what identity actually has to shift before income does. Recorded on a dog walk, so expect a bit of weather and one hawk feather. Julie starts with a reading she had recently where someone told her we're not here to make millions, we're here to do this other work. Her response: why can't it be both? If more people are genuinely in tune and healing themselves, they're also able to receive more, which means more can flow, which means more gets invested back into the practitioners doing the work. She's careful to keep this out of judgement. If you believe spiritual practice should be free, that's a valid line, it just isn't hers. If you'd rather hold onto your money, also fine. There are seasons in your own healing where investing feels right and seasons where it doesn't. Where she is direct is on the exchange. If she wants people investing in her, she believes she should be investing too. She's had clients wanting to charge twenty plus K who have never invested more than three, and while the point isn't that you must spend to sell, there is a different frequency in an exchange you've stood on both sides of. Then the daily piece. She catches herself mid-walk feeling behind because a library run disrupted her routine, and has to remember that the freedom she built the business for is exactly what she's using. The closing question is the one worth sitting with: what does your business need from you, identity-wise rather than task-wise, to hold a higher income? IN THIS EPISODE: Why linking visibility directly to income injects scarcity into your energy The specific story intuitives and energy workers carry about earning Why it gets to be both, spiritual work and real money Investing as a practitioner, and the frequency of a two-sided exchange Posting from I need someone to buy versus posting from full authority The identity questions underneath ads, capacity and higher income KEY MOMENTS: 00:00 Identity over income, and where the scarcity creeps in 01:00 The reading, and why can't it be both 02:00 Women, earning, and patterns around investing 03:00 Investing in practitioners if you want to be invested in 04:00 The twenty K offer and the three K ceiling 05:00 Catching yourself, the library run, and remembering you have the freedom 07:00 What your business actually needs from you "When you move from I need someone to buy from me, to I'm showing up in full identity of the business I'm creating, that is a very different frequency." Witnessed Day 8 - HER Desires, HER Terms

Unapologetic Desire: List It Without Justifying Unapologetic desire sounds simple until you notice how fast you start explaining yourself. This episode is about listing what you want with zero justification attached, and why the label of "too much" has been quietly capping the whole thing. Julie's task for day eight is eleven bold desires, or eight if you'd rather match the portal. No knowing the how. No steps, no details, no working out the bits in between. Just the wanting. The way in is an analogy she pulled from a container she was in that follows the energy of desire. You're in Rome on a hot day, you find a gelato place with no queue, and you can have absolutely anything. You don't justify the flavour. You don't justify taking two scoops that technically don't go together. That is the exact frequency, and it's far easier to feel there than it is on the big things. Then the harder stretch: saying one out loud to someone. Not the version you've already softened, the full one. You've told people you want to scale. Have you told anyone you want a million dollar business? And if they call it a nice dream, sitting in the yes, it is, and I'm owning it. She closes on why claiming is the part that actually moves things. You can have the vision, the download, the signs and the symbols, and it still stalls until you own it, because it's a frequency match. Plus a reminder that your biggest desire might have nothing to do with business at all. IN THIS EPISODE: Why "too much" is what caps your capacity to want things The Rome gelato analogy, and desire with no reason attached The four prompts for finding your bold ones Why claiming them out loud is an act of embodiment Sharing one with someone who'll stretch you, and handling "that's a nice dream" Why the universe stalls until you own it, and the 9am example KEY MOMENTS: 00:00 The day eight task, eleven bold desires 00:30 How the label of too much restricts what you let yourself want 01:00 Rome, the empty queue, and the gelato you don't justify 03:00 The prompts, and why we deserve to go broader 04:00 Saying one out loud to a person who might not expect it 05:00 Frequency matching, and why nobody talks to me before 9am counts "You don't have to justify why you picked that flavour. You don't have to justify why you took two scoops." READ THE WRITTEN VERSION: The written version has the prompts and the stretch instruction laid out so you can work through your list rather than holding it all in your head. https://authorityafterdark.substack.com/ LINKS: WITNESSED, The Lion's Gate Portal Challenge, the free Notion hub with all eleven days https://app.notion.com/p/WITNESSED-The-Lions-Gate-Portal-Challenge-3a9c8f5031788043bbb1f42de0b769b7 Subscribe to Authority After Dark to get each day of the portal as it drops.
