What if being heard also comes with the responsibility of hearing others? In my need to be heard… did I sometimes forget to hear the people who were hearing me? This episode is about oversharing, connection, grief, expectations, friendships, growth and learning that people show up in different ways. Maybe being heard isn’t only about finding your voice. Maybe it’s also about listening when someone speaks… or even when they are quiet. SEE IT. HEAR IT.

    Welcome to the very first episode of Thandeka iNdlovukazi yaKwaMashazi. This is not a podcast from someone who has life figured out. This is a space for reflection, honesty, vulnerability, healing, identity, ambition, grief, relationships, mental health, and becoming. In this first episode, I speak about entering my 30s, reflecting on my 20s, navigating life as a firstborn daughter, battling mental health in silence, dealing with expectations, heartbreak, fear, abandonment, and the pressure of always appearing strong. This is the beginning of me choosing to speak up. Not because I have all the answers, but because I no longer want to suffer quietly. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, emotionally exhausted, lost between who you are and who you’re becoming, or like you carry battles nobody sees, this space may resonate with you. I don’t like being seen.But I want to be heard. Hear me.
