For more than a decade, RXSKULLS has been covering streets around the world with his instantly recognizable skull design. What started as a single photograph of a human skull taken while studying graphic design in London evolved into hundreds of unique hand-crafted variations that have become iconic throughout the international street art community. But there's a much deeper story behind the name. "RX" isn't just a cool tag—it was born from a very personal experience. After being diagnosed with a brain tumor, combined with a family history of cancer and his fascination with mortality, he created the RXSKULLS identity as a way to process those experiences. The name also reflects his complicated relationship with prescription medication and the lasting impact it had on his life and art. Unlike many artists who outsource production, RXSKULLS is obsessed with craftsmanship. Every design begins as a hand-carved linoleum block before being transformed into screen prints. His stickers are screen printed, hand cut, and produced in his own print shop, earning him the nickname of a true "adhesive enthusiast."
