S2 E5 | Can God Heal Broken Relationships?

Can God Heal Broken Relationships? What happens when a relationship that once felt safe and whole becomes fractured? Can God restore what feels broken, and how do we know when to keep pursuing reconciliation or when it may be time to let go? In this episode of Life Reclaimed, Kim, Brenda, and Cindy have an honest conversation about broken relationships, forgiveness, reconciliation, boundaries, and the ways God can transform our relationships as He transforms us. In this episode, we talk about: How relational conflict can affect our sense of wholeness What Scripture teaches us about reconciliation How God transforms our relationships as He transforms us Biblical and real-life examples of broken relationships being restored Why forgiveness and reconciliation are not always the same thing How to recognize when a relationship may no longer be healthy or safe What faithfulness can look like when reconciliation isn’t possible How Jesus modeled forgiveness, empathy, prayer, and restoration Learning to trust God in the waiting God is a God of reconciliation, but restoration doesn’t always look the way we expect. Whether you’re praying for a relationship to be healed, learning to establish healthy boundaries, or surrendering a relationship you cannot fix, we hope this conversation reminds you that God is still at work. Reflection of the Week:Knowing that God wants restoration and wholeness in our lives, what is the first step you could take this week to allow God to start to heal that broken relationship? S2 E4 | Can Boundaries Actually Build Better Relationships?

Can boundaries actually help us love people better? For many of us, boundaries can feel selfish, unloving, or even unbiblical. We may say yes when we’re exhausted, give people more access than is healthy, avoid difficult conversations, or confuse loving someone with allowing unhealthy patterns to continue. In this episode of Life Reclaimed, Kim, Brenda, and Cindy explore a different way of looking at boundaries: not as walls that keep people out, but as wisdom that can help us love others well. Together, they talk honestly about what they’ve learned from setting boundaries in their own lives, the relationship between access and trust, forgiveness without enabling unhealthy behavior, and the personal boundaries that help us show up healthier in our relationships. They also look at boundaries throughout Scripture and the ways Jesus modeled healthy rhythms of rest, prayer, truth, and love. Because boundaries aren’t the goal. Love is the goal. Healthy boundaries can help us love wisely, in ways that reflect the heart of Christ. Reflection of the Week:What simple boundary do you need to set this week, for yourself or for someone else? In this episode:• Why boundaries can feel uncomfortable for Christians• Healthy boundaries vs. walls and avoidance• How access, trust, and responsibility work together• Forgiveness without enabling unhealthy behavior• Practical boundaries that help us love others well• What Scripture and the life of Jesus teach us about boundaries Resources Mentioned:Good Boundaries and Goodbyes by Lysa TerKeurst For show notes, Scriptures, resources, and to answer the Reflection of the Week, visit LifeReclaimed.net. S2 E3 | Identity Before Performance

Who are you when the titles disappear? So often, we define ourselves by what we accomplish, how well we perform, or what others think of us. But what if our identity was never meant to be earned in the first place? In this episode of Life Reclaimed, we explore what it means to find our identity in Christ rather than in our achievements. Together, we talk about the identities we wear, the pressure to prove ourselves, and the freedom that comes from resting in who God says we are. Along the way, we discuss:• Why we naturally tie our worth to what we do• The difference between striving for God's approval and living from His love• What Scripture says about being God's beloved children• How remembering our identity in Christ changes the way we work, serve, and love others• Why Jesus' identity was declared by the Father before His public ministry ever began If you've ever felt like you weren't enough, struggled with comparison, or found yourself constantly trying to prove your worth, we pray this conversation reminds you of this simple truth: Your identity isn't something you achieve. It's something you receive through Christ. Scriptures Mentioned• Matthew 3:16-17• Ephesians 2:8-10• Romans 8:15-17• 1 John 3:1-2• Ephesians 3:14-21 Resources Mentioned• Don't Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table by Louie Giglio• 5 Identity Messages from Ephesians That Will Transform Your Life To continue the conversation, download this episode's companion guide, explore additional resources, or share your reflection with us at LifeReclaimed.net. Remember, becoming whole isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming who God created you to be.

S2 E2 | Can God Use My Whole Story?

Every life contains chapters we'd rather forget. Betrayal, loss, regret, broken relationships, painful choices, and seasons that still don't make sense. But what if God isn't finished writing your story? In this episode of Life Reclaimed, we explore Joseph's remarkable journey from betrayal to redemption and ask an important question: Can God really use every part of our story? Through honest conversation, personal experiences, and Scripture, we talk about healing from trauma, confronting the lies we believe about ourselves, rediscovering our identity in Christ, and learning to trust God's redemptive work even before we can see the ending. If you've ever wondered whether your past has disqualified you from God's purposes, this conversation is for you. In This Episode • Why painful chapters often shape our identity • Little "t" and Big "T" trauma • Lies that unfinished stories tempt us to believe • Learning to recognize God's faithfulness • Joseph's story of betrayal, waiting, forgiveness, and redemption • Why redemption usually unfolds slowly • The difference between God redeeming a story and erasing it • Finding hope when your story still feels unfinished • Why no chapter disqualifies you from being used by God Key Takeaway: God doesn't waste our stories. Even the chapters marked by pain, regret, betrayal, or loss can become places where His grace, healing, and redemption are displayed. Your past may explain part of your journey, but it does not define your identity. In Christ, your story is still being written. Scriptures • Genesis 37-50 • Genesis 50:20 • Joel 2:25 • Psalm 147:3 • Romans 8:1 Reflection of the Week: What part of your story do you most need to place back into God's hands, not because you fully understand it, but because you want Him to redeem it? We'd love to hear what God is teaching you. Visit LifeReclaimed.net for show notes, Scripture references, and more resources. Connect with us on Facebook: Life Reclaimed Podcast

S2 E1 | What Does Wholeness Really Look Like?

Season 2 begins here. What does it really mean to be whole? Many of us spend our lives believing that wholeness means having everything together, fixing every flaw, or finally becoming "good enough." But Scripture paints a very different picture. In this first episode of Season 2, Kim, Brenda, and Cindy explore what biblical wholeness actually looks like. Together they discuss brokenness, surrender, identity, the healing work of Christ, and why becoming whole is not something we achieve, but something God is faithfully accomplishing within us. If you've ever wondered whether God can restore the unfinished places of your life, this conversation is for you. In this episode we discuss: • Why wholeness is different from perfection• Living with an undivided heart• Surrendering broken places to God• Growing through struggle• Finding hope in God's ongoing work Scripture referenced: • Hebrews 10:14• 2 Corinthians 6:18• Psalm 86:11• 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24• Philippians 1:6 Reflection of the Week Where do you sense God inviting you to trust Him with an unfinished part of your story? S1 E9 | God Isn't Finished Yet

Season 1 Finale: God Isn’t Finished Yet As we close out our first season of Life Reclaimed, we’re looking back at the journey of becoming healthy and remembering a truth we all need to hear: God is not finished with us yet. Growth can feel slow. Healing can feel incomplete. Sometimes we look at the places we still struggle and wonder if real change is even happening. But the story of our faith is not one of perfection. It’s one of a faithful God who keeps working, shaping, healing, and restoring His people over time. In this season finale, we reflect on what it means to keep walking with Jesus in the middle of the process. We talk about discouragement, hope, and the evidence of God’s grace in seasons that still feel unfinished. If you’ve ever felt behind, stuck, or frustrated by how long growth is taking, this conversation is for you. We also share a little of what’s next for Life Reclaimed. We do have a bonus episode coming, and then we’ll take a short break before returning with Season 2: Whole. If you’re looking for something to listen to while you wait, we’re here to help.
