    Living in Spain: From Scotland to Costa Blanca with Rena | Expats in Spain S1E1

    To kick off the podcast, I’m joined by Rena, a colleague of mine who came all the way from Scotland. She’s been experiencing firsthand what it’s truly like to adapt to life here on the Costa Blanca—specifically in Villamartín, a perfect area for foreign residents. We talk about the raw reality of moving: from the culture shock of the first few months and the paperwork, to the laughs (and the occasional scare) trying to understand how we drive in Spain and what’s going on with the roundabouts. She also tells us what she misses most from back home, her favorite spots in the Vega Baja, and how her daily life has changed since trading the rain for the Mediterranean sun.
