Yes.. somehow we officially made it to EPISODE 20 of Sueños & Reality! 😭🎙️❤️ 20 episodes of the good, the bad, the awkward moments, the learning experiences, & literally everything in between. No ha sido fácil, pero aquí seguimos. ❤️ Still learning, having fun, & just grateful for every opportunity this little podcast has brought us. This week we kick things off with some Chicago sports talk! 🏈⚾ THE BEARS WON! 🐻⬇️ We talk about how it doesn’t matter how old you are, if you keep working, stay ready, & don’t give up, you can still make things happen. Then we get into the Cubs. 💙 Although the season didn’t end how Mare wanted, pues ni modo.. there’s always next year. 😭 Mare has also officially decided the Sox are cheating because apparently having the Pope on your side is an unfair advantage. 😂 Zermes is rooting for the Yankees, Mare is just over it at this point, & honestly… Sox or Yankees would be fine. Anybody except the DAMN DODGERS. 😂⚾ We also talk fútbol! Mexico ends with a tie, but make sure you have that camiseta ready because Mexico takes on the USA Saturday! 🇲🇽🇺🇸 We also touch a little bit on the latest Ronaldo/Portugal drama. 👀⚽ Then it’s time for our Sabor Fest recap! 🔥🎶 Sabor Fest was AMAZING. The whole event felt super homey, welcoming, and just a really good vibe. We met some awesome people and heard some really talented grupos. We caught up with our good friends Los Importales (https://www.instagram.com/los.inmortalesoficial/?hl=en) , who reminded us of something important: sometimes you just have to stop waiting, take the chance, and GO FOR IT. ❤️ We also got a cool picture with Equipo Distinto, caught Los de la 608, Coronado, Los K-Bros, a little bit of Vanguardia, & then Mare had to call it a night because apparently having responsibilities and work the next morning is still a thing. 😭 And since we talk about it in the episode too: PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE. Have a designated driver, get a ride, call an Uber, or do whatever you need to do. Have fun, pero get home safe. ❤️ Next up… FUERZA REGIDA! 🔥🔥🔥 They’re one of our FAVORITES, and Zermes got Mare tickets as part of her birthday celebration. 🎂So yes… we are HYPED. We also take a moment to look back at all the amazing opportunities we’ve had since starting. Will Sueños & Reality make us rich? Who knows 😂 But even if it never does, the memories, the people we’ve met, experiences, and everything we’ve gotten to do have already made this whole thing worth it. We also talk about visiting The Shrine of Christ’s Passion in St. John. 🙏🏼 If you’ve never been, we definitely recommend checking it out. It’s such a beautiful & peaceful experience.
