    Empowered Women, Empower Generations

Happy Women's Day to all amazing women out there! To the woman who almost gave up— this is for you. To the woman who has faced abandonment, failure, disappointment, abuse, and rejection— remember this: What happened to you does not define you. Your dreams are still valid. Your purpose is still waiting. And it is never too late to become the woman you once dreamed you would be. To the younger version of yourself, the little girl who dreamed without limits— tell her: “I haven’t forgotten you.” I may have stumbled. I may have taken a different path. I may have fallen more times than I can count. But I am still becoming. And to every woman listening: You can begin again. You can heal. You can dream again. You can pursue the career, the business, the purpose, and the life you’ve always envisioned. You are not too broken. You are not too old. You are not too far behind. There is still time. But our power as women is not only found in what we achieve for ourselves. It is also found in what we make possible for the women who come after us. Our courage can become someone’s confidence. Our healing can become someone’s freedom. Our success can become someone’s starting point. So as we celebrate Women’s Day, let us remember the generations watching us. Because every door we open makes it easier for another woman to walk through. Every mountain we climb becomes a path for someone behind us. And every dream we pursue can tell another woman: “You can do it too.” So rise, woman. Rise with your scars. Rise with your story. Rise with your lessons. And when you rise— reach back. Lift another woman. Make room for another woman. Empower another woman. Because when one woman discovers her power, she changes her life. But when she uses that power to empower others, she changes generations. That is the power of women. And that is the legacy we leave behind. A shared piece of work, vulnerable and conversation with Mahadi Ramarumo, an inspirational WOMAN, event speciality, founder and business owner of Itirele Creative Solutions - your next event partner 👸 👩🏽‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏽❤️ We would love to hear about your story as a woman, please engage with us on this conversation. 🫶🏽❤️ YouTube: https://youtube.com/@growthisgreaterthancomfort?si=So2j4x-rRb5x3Poq Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0uL8TJvU9yhuRY8yjUyUCO?si=lGmtO6dMSjmhRz7_WuXHUg Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/za/podcast/growth-is-greater-than-comfort-with-bonolo/id1896789948

TURNING PAIN INTO PURPOSE: HOW ADVERSITY CAN CREATE HOPE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS | WITH DIMAKATSO LEKOLA

TURNING PAIN INTO PURPOSE: HOW ADVERSITY CAN CREATE HOPE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS | WITH DIMAKATSO LEKOLA What if the pain you experienced was not the end of your story—but the beginning of a purpose that could impact generations to come? In this powerful episode of Growth is Greater Than Comfort, I sit down with Dimakatso “DK” Lekola, the founder of a global education institute dedicated to mentoring and empowering young people to become brilliant professionals and leaders of the future. Together, we have a deeply personal and honest conversation about the painful experiences that have shaped us, the challenges we have faced, and how we can transform our pain into something powerful, meaningful, and purposeful. Both of us have taken our experiences and used them to create something bigger than ourselves. Through his education institute and my work with The Safe Space Organization, we explore how the very things that have hurt us can become the foundation for creating opportunities, hope, and change for future generations. Sometimes, the circumstances surrounding you may suggest that you should give up. Sometimes, your pain may feel too heavy to carry. But your story can still become a source of hope for someone else. This conversation is a reminder that you can experience pain without allowing pain to define you. You can face adversity and still choose to create. You can be wounded and still become a source of healing. And sometimes, the most meaningful purpose is born from the very experiences we never would have chosen for ourselves. Your pain may be part of your story—but it does not have to be the end of it. How have you turned your pain into purpose?

BEHIND THE SMILE | A Conversation on Mental Health and Healing

Sometimes the brightest smile hides the deepest pain. In this powerful episode of Growth is Greater Than Comfort, I’m joined by Paul Wombo CA(SA) - Investment banker, former SAICA Top 35 under 35 finalist and former Global Change maker as both facilitator and finalist for an honest conversation about the battles many people fight in silence. Together, we unpack what it means to live behind the smile - the pressure of carrying responsibilities while silently navigating anxiety, emotional pain, trauma, expectations, and life’s unseen burdens. We explore why so many people struggle to speak up, the masks we wear to appear “strong,” and the importance of creating spaces where vulnerability is welcomed rather than judged. We also discuss one of the most important questions many people ask themselves: Can you build a healthy life when you were raised in an unhealthy environment? From breaking generational cycles and rewriting limiting beliefs to choosing healing over survival, this episode is a reminder that your past does not have to define your future. You can change the script. Although Men’s Mental Health Month (June) has passed, the conversation around mental health should never be limited to a single month. Every day is an opportunity to check in, speak up, ask for help, and remind someone that they don’t have to carry life’s weight alone. Whether you’re silently struggling, supporting someone you love, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of mental health, this conversation is for you. Because sometimes, the strongest thing you can do isn’t hiding the pain, it’s choosing to talk about it. If this episode resonates with you, please like, share, and subscribe. Your support could be the encouragement someone needs to realise they are not alone. 💙 ❤️ Links: Youtube: https://youtu.be/-sd69pxggCw?si=hpR2QY2HxS1POcag Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0uL8TJvU9yhuRY8yjUyUCO?si=lGmtO6dMSjmhRz7_WuXHUg Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/za/podcast/growth-is-greater-than-comfort-with-bonolo/id1896789948 #GrowthIsGreaterThanComfort #mensmentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness
