Recently, she was given just a 5% chance of surviving acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Success. Depression. Being Enough. How the TOMS Founder Learned 'I Am Enough' | Blake Mycoskie

What happens when you get everything you ever dreamed of—and it still isn't enough? In this episode of Spirit Collective, Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS Shoes and creator of The No Magic Pill Podcast sits down with host Ariane de Bonvoisin, for an honest conversation about success, depression, self-worth, purpose, spirituality, leadership, and mental health. While Blake built one of the world's most influential purpose-driven companies, this conversation goes far beyond entrepreneurship. Together, they explore why achievement or money alone can never bring lasting fulfillment, how healing begins when we stop searching for everything outside ourselves, and what it truly means to know that you are enough. What We Cover: Why building one of the world's most influential purpose-driven companies, selling it for $650million and helping give away more than 100 million pairs of shoes still left Blake feeling emptyThe arrival trap: what happens when you finally achieve everything you wanted and discover it isn't enoughSeven years of depression, hitting rock bottom, and the moment everything had to changeThe core wound that shaped Blake's life—never feeling enough—and how he began to healBlake's dark night of the soul that brought him to his lowest point and ultimately to his greatest awakeningWhy purpose and self-worth cannot be found through achievement aloneWhy the consciousness of a business can only rise to the height of the consciousness of its leaderWhat it means to build a purpose-driven business through conscious leadership and conscious capitalismHow spirituality has quietly guided every venture Blake has ever builtPlant medicine, the Hoffman Process, therapy, and the many different paths to healing—and why there is no single solutionSlowing down as a spiritual practice—and the story behind Blake's snail tattooThe meaning behind the ENOUGH bracelet and why it is intentionally sold in pairs: one to keep and one to give awayHow Blake is using the AI mental health app Sonia to support his emotional well-being and self-reflectionWhat two marriages and two divorces taught him that no retreat, therapy session, or self-help book couldWhy vulnerability is a superpower—especially for men and leadersIf you're interested in mental health, personal growth, conscious leadership, entrepreneurship, spirituality, purpose, healing, and living a more meaningful life, this conversation offers practical wisdom and deeply personal insights that will stay with you long after the episode ends. About Blake Mycoskie: Blake Mycoskie is best known as the founder of TOMS Shoes and the creator of the One for One movement, which gave over 100 million pairs of shoes to children in need and helped spark a new wave of social entrepreneurship. But behind the global success, he was quietly battling something deeper — the unshakable belief that he was never enough. After selling TOMS, that internal struggle became impossible to ignore. Despite having everything he once believed would bring fulfillment — family, success, community, and financial security — he found himself in a profound depression. That breaking point led to a life-altering realization: the wound wasn't external. It was rooted within. And the only way forward was to heal the original lie that he wasn't enough. From that awakening came his next chapter — ENOUGH, a cultural movement designed to challenge the deeply ingrained belief of not enough and reframe how we understand mental health at its core. He is also the host of No Magic Pill, a podcast for honest, unfiltered conversations about mental health, and co-founder of Morning Water and Moovlab, wellness brands rooted in intentional living and human performance. Blake is a loving father of two, an avid surfer, and a portrait photographer currently working on a 50th birthday project, photographing the people who have most shaped his life.  Links: ENOUGH Bracelet: www.weareenough.org Morning Water: https://blakemycoskie.com/morning-water Sonia AI Therapy App: https://www.soniahealth.com/ No Magic Pill Podcast: Available on all podcast platforms and YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@NoMagicPillwithBlakeMycoskie Book: Awareness by Anthony de Mello — https://amzn.to/4vRxK5p Book: Everything is Spiritual by Rob Bell — https://amzn.to/4y4LNpW Website: www.blakemycoskie.com Connect With Blake Mycoskie: Instagram: @blakemycoskie LinkedIn:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/blakemycoskie/  Substack: Blake Mycoskie on Substack https://nomagicpills.substack.com/ About Ariane de Bonvoisin: Ariane de Bonvoisin is the founder of The Spirit Collective, a podcast at the intersection of success and spirituality. Paul Greene, beloved star of Hallmark Movies and YouTube musician, and fan favorite across dozens of films and TV shows, sits down for one of the most personal conversations of his career — about his faith, fear, where his music and creativity come from, and the spiritual life behind the famous smile. Paul joins Ariane for this episode of The Spirit Collective, where he answers questions about his spirituality, personal growth, and the inner journey behind decades of fame in a way no red carpet interview ever could. From deeply Christian roots in small-town Alberta to Hollywood, fatherhood, and an incredible daily practice that starts before his feet hit the floor — this is Paul Greene as you have never heard him before. What We Cover: + Growing up Pentecostal — and how love for Jesus survived the fire-and-brimstone + The  dinner conversation that sparked a decade-long rebuilding of faith + Moving from a fear-based relationship with God to one rooted entirely in love + Presence as a spiritual practice — being truly there for the people in front of you + A daily gratitude practice that starts before his feet hit the floor Raising a child with tradition, story, and wonder — without the fear + Why spirituality and creativity are, for Paul, the same thing + 750 audition rejections and learning to stop making things mean something + Living in a friendly universe — and why that decision changes everything + Why making life about others is the most spiritual thing he knows About Paul Greene: Paul Greene is an actor, musician, model, health coach, and author whose life is anchored by four pillars: family, fitness, faith, and fun. Raised on a farm in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Paul's work ethic and sincerity were shaped long before Hollywood. You may know him from the Hallmark Channel — often called the "Cary Grant of Hallmark" — or from his role on When Calls the Heart. But behind the romantic lead is a man who has survived profound loss, navigated deep spiritual questioning, and come out the other side with a life built on service and presence. After losing his father to ALS, Paul committed himself to raising funds and awareness for the disease. During the 2020 pandemic, he performed over 500 live shows to keep people connected and spirits high.
