Stephanie breaks down the eerie lead-up and the fascinating, frustrating theories of a crime that still stumps investigators over a century later. Annie’s Story: The Ghosts of Versailles Annie continues the weird vibes by taking us back to 1901 with the bizarre tale of Charlotte Anne Moberly and Eleanor Jourdain. While walking through the grounds of the Petit Trianon at Versailles, these two academics didn't just see old buildings—they stepped completely back in time. Annie shares the fascinating, elegant, and deeply unsettling story of two women who convinced themselves (and generations of readers) that they crossed paths with the ghost of Marie Antoinette in her final days.
