AI and the six or so degrees of separation

Hey! If this is your first time listening to my podcast, maybe go back and check out some earlier episodes first. I’m not real sure what’s going on here.  I didn’t read out the poem I wrote for the wedding. It was for the couple and if you don’t know them it won’t make much sense anyway.  One time on a building site, I climbed down a ladder and stepped straight into a bucket of stud glue. That’s just the sort of tradesman I am. Hence why I write poetry.  I love youse all  ☮️ Please follow along, micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on Facebook

    Crocodiles

Hello dear friends  Here’s a story from back in the crocodile days, back when I was just a young fella.  I just want to make a quick note. These are just stories about stuff I did when I was young. Views, opinions, morals and beliefs, and stuff I did twenty years ago doesn’t necessarily reflect who I am or how I feel today. But that doesn’t change history or the facts. I just hope you enjoy the stories for what they are. Stories.  Crocodile roll, by John Williamson  One of the greatest storytellers and writers of verse of our time. I didn’t get permission to use the song, sorry Johnno, I hope it’s okay and you enjoy the yarn should you ever get to hear it.  Mick ☮️ Please follow along, micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on Facebook

    Wallabies and Curlews

Do you ever wonder what animals talk about? I guess I do.  I haven’t always been super cool to the animal kingdom, but I’m trying hard these days. Always remember, it’s not just people we share the planet with. The wildlife and the landscape go hand in hand, and it all tells a story.  Mick ☮️ Please follow along, micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on Facebook

    The one that got away.

Hello dear friends,  This is a fishing poem/yarn I wrote back in 2015, and the story behind it is very dear to my heart.  Then I kinda just rant for a bit, with a couple of stories and some gentle b******t.  I deleted and re released this episode. I wasn’t happy with the sound quality so I’ve tried to make it a little better. I’m sorry, I’m still learning. The eternal DIY hack.  Mick ☮️ Please follow along, micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on Facebook

It chased me out of the bush.

Hi dear friends Episode 3, I’m not sure what to call it, `something scary in the bush’.  This is a poem I wrote about a strange and frightening encounter. It never actually happened to me, but it’s based on heaps of actual encounters that I’ve read about and listened to. It’s a subject that fascinates me more than just about anything else. I definitely have some more of this topic to talk about in future episodes. I’ve got some great paranormal stories coming eventually too. So make sure to subscribe and follow along.  If you do like my work, please rate and review, and share it around. I’d really love that.  ☮️ Please follow along, micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on Facebook

    Concreters

Hey Dear Friends  Episode 2  Concreatures One for the tradies. Even if you’re not a tradie you’ll have come across a cementer at least once in your life, which I’m sure was an experience one way or the other.  I worked on building sites for around 10 years, and even if I’m not the greatest tradesmen in the world, I know the places are dripping with stories and lore and b******t. Here are some of my findings. Please send it on to some concreter or tradie mates.  Find me at  micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on facebook  I love Youse all  ☮️ Please follow along, micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on Facebook

    Beards!

Oh hey! It’s my first ever podcast episode. It’s about beards.  Do you have a beard? Or a sweet moustache? Do you know someone with someone with some mad facial hair? Send the pod their way, and hit me up too. I want to know about the beards. I need some inspiration because I can feel a beards part two coming.  I never planned on making a podcast, I just wrote a big thing about beards and I wasn’t sure what to do with it.  I hope you enjoy it.  I didn’t get permission to use the song ‘You should consider having sex with a bearded man’ by The Beards. Crackin Australian rock band. I tried to contact them, but I had no luck. I hope they don’t mind. If they do mind, I’m sorry I’ll take it down. If anyone knows the guys in the band, please send them the episode. I’d love for them to hear it either way.  Check out my socials  @micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on Facebook  Please follow along, micknewton_storyteller on instagram  Mick Newton Storyteller on Facebook
