    A Message From Grandmaster Jordan | Episode 12 Delayed

    ’t a normal episode of Holocron Radio. I just wanted to take a few minutes to talk directly to everyone who has been supporting me and the show. I recently celebrated my birthday on August 19, and I’m extremely grateful for my wife, family, friends, and everyone who showed up to celebrate me and support what I’ve been building. But at the same time, there was someone important to me who I thought would be there who wasn’t, and it affected me more than I expected. So this week, I need to take some time for myself and get my mind right. Episode 12 will be delayed until next Friday. I’d rather take a week, regroup, and come back ready than force myself to record when I know I’m not mentally there. I also want to say something bigger than the podcast. Take your mental health seriously. Star Wars has actually been one of my escapes during difficult times. When I was younger and going through things mentally, this galaxy gave me somewhere to escape to. Even today, sometimes sitting down and reading a Star Wars book, watching one of the movies or shows, or just getting lost in the lore can be therapeutic for me. Find the healthy things that help you get through those difficult moments. And when escaping into something you love isn’t enough, reach out to somebody. Talk to your family, your friends, someone you trust, or a professional if you need it. And if you notice somebody around you struggling, reach out to them too. Mental health matters. Thank you again for supporting Holocron Radio and for allowing me to take this week for myself. I’ll be back next week refreshed and ready for Episode 12 and our big interview.
