    Pocomucho Daily — Tuesday 21 July 2026

Tuesday, July 21st, 2026. I'm your host Ben D M Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily. Pacha Ibiza has announced its Grand Closing Weekend Part 2, and PAWSA is taking control on Sunday, October 11th, joined by Miguelle & Tons. Closing season is still a way off, but it's never too early to mark the calendar. Miguelle & Tons, meanwhile, has been confirmed as the next act for San Antonio's Feels Like Eclipse Festival. No further details announced yet. Over in Croatia, Culture Club Revelin in Dubrovnik has dropped its full 2026 lineup including Volkoder, Son of Son, Fedde Le Grand, Claptone, DJ Diesel, Kapuchon, Ferreck Dawn, Loco Dice among others. The venue — set inside the historic Revelin Fortress — is bringing house, techno, melodic sounds and high-energy EDM to one of the most architecturally striking club spaces in Europe. Heading to Scandinavia — Kokong Festival returns to the Åland Islands on July 31st and August 1st, once again hosted inside a geodesic dome. The programme focuses on experimental electronic and electroacoustic music, continuing the festival's commitment to adventurous, forward-thinking sounds. Berlin's Werkbundarchiv — Museum der Dinge opens a new exhibition on July 23rd titled Club Culture — Taking Stock. The show examines the challenges of documenting Berlin's club culture for museum purposes and preserving it for the future. A city that's spent years fighting to protect its clubs now turning the lens inward. Brian Cid has released a free remix of MANDY's Body Language as a tribute to the late Philipp Jung, co-founder of Get Physical Music. The remix is available now on Cid's SoundCloud, created to celebrate Jung's life and legacy. Boris Brejcha is set to perform his first-ever orchestral show at the Hollywood Bowl on July 26th. The German producer will appear alongside the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by Derrick Hodge. And over in France, Delta Festival kicks off in one week — running July 23rd to 26th on the Prado beaches of Marseille. The organisers are billing the 2026 edition as the most spectacular in the festival's history, artists includes Adam Beyer, Acid Arab, Feder, Kungs, Medusa, Miss Monique, Cerrone among many others. Phi Beach — the open-air venue set within a restored 19th-century fortress overlooking the cliffs of Baja Sardinia — has unveiled its complete Summer 2026 programme. That includes Fisher, Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Mochakk, Adriatique, PAWSA, Loco Dice, Honey Dijon, Seth Troxler, Damian Lazarus, Mau P, Claptone, Meduza and Bob Sinclar, alongside many other internationally acclaimed artists. Now, what's on tonight in Ibiza? At Hï, East End Dubs hosts his Eastenderz night with Toman B2B Jay de Lys, Di Chiara Brothers, Joëlla Jackson, and Paco Osuna. At Amnesia, it's Metamorfosi with Joseph Capriati back-to-back with Max Dean, Patrick Topping, Salomé Le Chat, and Us Two. Pacha goes big with RÜFÜS DU SOL and Jimi Jules. Over at 528, Pikes presents Back To Mine — Sasha and John Digweed headline alongside Mick Wilson and Erol Alkan. And at Cova Santa, PIV Ibiza brings Cam Stockman, Mad.Again, M-High, and Robbie Doherty. That's all folks! Curated by me, narrated by my AI voice. Pocomucho Daily — Monday 20 July 2026

Monday, July 20th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily. Tomorrowland had quite a weekend. Charlotte de Witte showed up unannounced on the Mainstage on Sunday for an impromptu set blending hard techno with psy-trance — an unexpected curveball that, by all accounts, shifted the entire mood of the day. Meanwhile, on Saturday night, Dimitri Vegas took the Mainstage solo following Like Mike's announcement that he's stepping back from touring due to health challenges. Dimitri dedicated a moment during the set to his partner with the words: "We can't wait for you to be back." And in one of the more genuinely moving stories to come out of the festival, Spanish DJ B Jones returned to the Tomorrowland Mainstage after beating cancer — saying in a statement that the goal of performing there again was a major source of motivation throughout her treatment. Good to have her back. Over in Hamburg, controversy is brewing ahead of this weekend's Habitat Festival. The city's antisemitism commissioner Anna von Villiez is calling for the cancellation of Palestinian techno DJ Sama' Abdulhadi's planned performance at the event. In Germany, a large-scale raid saw customs investigators, federal police, and special forces storm a suspected drug laboratory in an industrial building in the Brandenburg town of Ludwigsfelde. Separately, following the earlier raid at the Augsburg City Club — one of the biggest controversies in German nightlife this year — police have now searched 19 homes belonging to club visitors. French festival Positive Education is back. After a one-year hiatus, the Saint-Étienne gathering — located near Lyon — returns on November 6th and 7th with a lineup that includes A Guy Called Gerald, K Wata, Machine Girl, ABADIR, Manuka Honey, Eris Drew and Octo Octa, and Microplastics, among others. Good to see it back. Reworks Festival in Thessaloniki has dropped its first names for 2026. Paul Kalkbrenner, Dixon, Fadi Mohem, Daria Kolosova, The Blessed Madonna, DVS1, Maceo Plex, Modeselektor, Moritz von Oswald, and Sama' Abdulhadi are among the bookings for the September festival. Full programme still to come. London arts venue Theatreship — the volunteer-run centre based on a docked cargo ship — has confirmed it will continue operating after reaching a binding agreement that includes legal protections against future noise complaints. The space had been under threat for the past 14 months due to a proposed skyscraper development nearby. Good news for one of London's more singular venues. Leeds is getting a new warehouse venue. Promoter Arrival Events — founded in 2024 by Josh Demello and Kane Towning — is opening a space called Vault, described as the city's largest-ever warehouse experience. An opening date and location are yet to be announced. Sven Väth is opening a residency at The Shard in London this August — a five-date series in partnership with fabric and Sennheiser, taking place at The View from the Shard. One of the more unusual venue pairings you'll see this year. Now, what's on tonight in Ibiza. Kettama heads to Amnesia. Sonny Fodera and Dombresky take over Pacha. Hï hosts Francis Mercier presenting Solèy. Akasha has DJ Pippi and Willie Graff. Cocoon lands at 528 with Sven Väth and Nina Kraviz. And Circoloco fills DC10 with a deep lineup: either and me, Call Super, Chloé Caillet, Luciano, Rampa, Seth Troxler, Young Marco, Sossa, and Tania Vulcano. A serious Monday. That's it folks! Pocomucho Daily — Friday 17 July 2026

Friday, July 17th, 2026. I'm your host Ben DMZ. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily. Solomun and Jamie xx delivered what's being called a legendary sold-out back-to-back at Pacha Ibiza — a masterclass in dancefloor heat that's got people talking. Two artists at the very top of their game sharing a booth. Enough said. Marco Carola's Music On has made its Malta debut, and a new piece looks inside the logistics and vision behind bringing the religion of the low end to the island for the first time. Big undertaking, by all accounts. elrow returns to New York tomorrow — July 18th — with their 'Dance With The Serpent' concept, taking over Pacha New York for a sunset-to-4AM immersive experience. Coco & Breezy, Tony Romera, Tini Gessler and Brothers Macklovitch are among those on the bill. Sustain-Release has revealed its 2026 lineup. The beloved Catskills festival, founded by Aurora Halal — who will also play — returns this September with livwutang, Verraco, james K, Joy Guidry and Byrell The Great confirmed. B2Bs include DJ Nobu and DJ MARIA., DJ Healthy and JP, and CCL and Yushh. A strong showing for one of New York's most cherished gatherings. For Nelson Mandela Day, London's Trafalgar Square will host South African DJs and musicians in an event that also marks 30 years since the South African Constitution was enshrined. Sun-El Musician, Thakzin and Sjava are on the lineup. Logic1000 has announced her new album, 'Confirmation!', and shared the first single. It's the follow-up to her acclaimed debut 'Mother', with the Australian artist using it to celebrate many versions of herself. Spencer Brown has been announced for Global Underground's nubreed 13 — the long-running series that has been a launchpad for cutting-edge electronic talent for three decades now. Amelie Lens and Angèle have unveiled a collaboration — Angèle made a surprise appearance during Lens's set at Dour festival to debut the track together. Belgium doing Belgium things. French hardcore artist Hysta has released a new single called "Belong To One" — her first on Dancing Dead, dropping today at 170 BPM. She's been described as the queen of French hardcore, and this marks another step forward. HÖR Berlin is taking its operation on the road — on July 24th, as part of HÖR On Tour, the Bootshaus transforms into a temporary HÖR studio for a full club night across three floors, with Deborah De Luca headlining. Now, what's on tonight in Ibiza. Hï has Dom Dolla alongside Interplanetary Criminal, Cole Knight, Ewan McVicar, Bradley Zero and Alinka. Amnesia's running Glitterbox with Alan Dixon, The Shapeshifters, Krystal Klear and O'Flynn — whose album dropped this very morning, no less. Over at Pacha, Marco Carola presents Music On with Vintage Culture, Hot Since 82 and Idriss D. And Playa Soleil Bora Bora has the Cécille Records crew — Cuartero, Joey Daniel, Nick Curly, Paul Woolford and S.A.M. Saturday, Chinois has Claptone presents The Masquerade with Faithless DJ set, Flashmob, and Rob Roar. At Pacha it's Flower Power with Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Olive F and Kristen Knight. Black Coffee at Hï with Black Coffee with Henrik Schwarz, Fiona Kraft and Skepta . ANTS invites The Martinez Brothers at Ushuaïa. Sunday, Carl Cox at UNIVERSE. Hï welcomes CAMELPHAT and his Summer Of Love along with Tiga and Volkoder. But the winner is Cocoon at Amnesia with Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz and Len Faki That's all folks! Pocomucho Daily — Thursday 16 July 2026

Thursday, July 16th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D M Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily. It's been a hot week on the islands — and not just in terms of energy. Ibiza and Formentera are under a yellow heat warning from Spain's national meteorological agency AEMET, with temperatures hitting 37°C in parts. High humidity and prolonged dry conditions have also pushed wildfire risk higher, prompting warnings from local authorities. Stay hydrated, stay alert. Amnesia is marking fifty years with a limited edition vinyl compilation. No tracklist details just yet, but a landmark anniversary deserves a proper pressing. Over at Destino tonight — and we'll get to the full rundown shortly — but first, news that Music On is making its Malta debut. Marco Carola's party has built a near-religious following among lovers of the low end, and this first edition on the island looks to be a significant moment for the Mediterranean club circuit. In Berlin, Kater is doing something genuinely useful. From July 11th, clubbers aged 18 to 24 can get a Next-Gen Ticket for €15 — available in advance via Resident Advisor or at the door, subject to availability. The move is a direct response to rising nightlife costs, and it's a smart one. More clubs should be paying attention. Cologne's Südbrücke — the largest privately operated open-air venue in the city — has been ordered to cancel all events by the local building authority. No timeline given on when or whether it can reopen. A blow for the city's outdoor scene. Tomorrowland will be broadcasting sets via Apple Music Club Radio during this year's festival, free to access daily from 3PM Central European Time. San Francisco is getting a new festival. Entanglement runs September 18th to 20th, put together by local promoter Endezeit in collaboration with Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions. The lineup includes Suzanne Ciani, Wata Igarashi, Clarisa Kimskii, Carlos Souffront and Patrick Russell. A strong pairing of labels and cities, and a lineup that leans into the more experimental end of the spectrum. Actress is back. The new album is called Radical Frame — out September 18th on Ninja Tune. It shares its name with the live audio-visual show Actress will perform at Pitchfork Music Festival and Unsound later this year. The album features CASISDEAD and Rainy Miller, and the first single, Overchord, is out now. Orbital are releasing their legendary 1994 Glastonbury set for the first time. It comes out September 25th via London Records, remastered from the original desk tapes. That performance is widely credited with cementing electronic music's place on the festival main stage — about time it got a proper official release. Now, what's on tonight? A LOT! Universe has Fisher headlining, with Salute and MPH. Amnesia is hosting Josh Baker's You&Me with Enzo Siragusa, Silva Bumba B2B Dr. Banana, and Alexandria. Pacha goes Pure Pacha with Purple Disco Machine, joined by Dombresky, Deer Jade and David Bay. Akasha has Hernan Cattaneo back-to-back with Dave Seaman, plus Bodaishin. Destino is Pacha Icons outdoors — Solomun with Joseph Capriati and Magdalena. Cova Santa sees Yotto's Odd One Out take over with Joris Voorn, Son Of Son and Sonic. Club Chinois goes Defected, with Carl Craig, Eliza Rose, DJammin, Murphy's Law, Shae Reid and more. And DC10 runs Solid Grooves — Beltran, Demi Riquisimo, Denis Sulta, DJ Seinfeld, DJ Tennis, Pawsa, Paula Tape and Trauma. A serious Thursday. THAT'S ALL RAVERS! Pocomucho Daily — Wednesday 15 July 2026

Wednesday, July 15th, 2026. I'm your host BenDMZ. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily. Amnesia is marking its 50th anniversary with a 50-track vinyl and CD compilation set to be released on September 4th. Spanning five decades of electronic music history on the island, the release is telling the full story of one of clubbing's most iconic venues. Ten discs, fifty tracks, from Donna Summer, Calvin Harris, Paul van Dyk, Candi Staton, Fred Again.., Robert Miles, Laurent Garnier, Binary Finary, and many more. Detroit's Charivari festival has revealed its 2026 edition. Running August 13th to 16th across TV Lounge and Tangent Gallery, the four-day event features DJ Bone, DJ Spen, Eddie Fowlkes, LADYMONIX, Terrence Parker and more. This year's theme is "PARALLEL," with a multi-generational lineup built to connect the dots across Detroit's dance music legacy. A new documentary has dropped following Fred again.. on the final date of his USB002 tour in Mexico City. Titled *Behind The Sound*, it goes behind the scenes ahead of that closing show. New details have emerged on the Tomorrowland mainstage fire from last year. According to sources cited by Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws, the blaze was reportedly caused by an ethanol spill during testing of the pyrotechnic displays. The highly flammable substance is believed to have made contact with the stage during that process. Roland Leesker has put his hands on Inner City's 1992 house classic *Pennies From Heaven*. The rework is out July 24th via Definitive Recordings — a label that knows a thing or two about that era. Munich's Blitz has announced the lineup for its four-day closing party. After nearly nine years on the Isar, the club is shutting its doors, and it's going out with over 70 residents and international acts across the final run. The marathon weekender will feature Seth Troxler, Sam Goku, Ogazón, DVS1, HTRK and dozens more. DJ Plead — real name Jarred Beeler — has opened up about his Arab heritage, identity, and a sense of permanent guilt he carries. In a new conversation, he described rebuilding a sense of homeland through melodies and called identity itself a hallucination — a fever dream, in his words. Defected Records and sportswear brand Champion have launched a capsule collection together, featuring clothing and a UDG DJ trolley. And New York's ÄGAPĒ Festival has unveiled its full lineup for its debut edition, with Kobosil, Somewhen, Clara Cuvé, Bad Boombox, Cloudy, and Adrián Mills among the names confirmed. Now, what's on tonight in Ibiza? Paradise takes over Hi with Jamie Jones, East End Dubs, Rossko, Locky, Dennis Quin, and Evie. At Pacha, BLOND:ISH presents Abracadabra with Monolink playing a hybrid set, alongside Samm and Peace Control. Cova Santa has Rumors tonight — Guy Gerber, Deep Dish, and Luca Saporito. Chinois welcomes Mahmut Orhan with Fideles and Nick Castle. And out at Playa Soleil Bora Bora, Sunwaves touches down with Leon, David Gtronic, Dunmore Brothers, and Sonja Moo. That's it folks! Pocomucho Daily — Tuesday 14 July 2026

Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D M Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily. John Digweed is dropping a live recording from the Twilo reunion — and if you know, you know how significant that is. Captured on March 6th at the original location, 530 West 27th Street in New York, Digweed played for five hours at the revival of one of the most mythologised clubs in dance music history. The release hits on July 24th, spread across four CDs, with four continuous mixes available to stream exclusively on Bandcamp. A new campaign called Raise The Bar has launched with the aim of improving how artists are treated at music venues. The initiative takes direct aim at large corporate venue operators, with organisers stating that venues owned by what they describe as the Live Nation monopoly have made poor practices too common across the country. DNA in Munich will close at the end of September after nearly three years. The city loses a fixture of its nightlife — another reminder of how difficult it remains to keep independent club spaces alive right now. A Boiler Room event in New York this past weekend was met with protests from activists connected to the Boycott Room campaign, who demonstrated on Friday against the organiser's ownership structure. The situation escalated, with reports of activists being attacked and trampled at the event. Change The Beat, the global non-profit supporting women and gender expansive artists in electronic music, has pledged 300 label signings for women and gender expansive electronic artists by 2028. The organisation is expanding its mission to build pathways through education, mentorship, industry access, live events and release programmes. Australian producer, singer and DJ Pretty Girl is back after a deliberate year away. She's returned with the Body Step EP, released via her own label earthside, and has announced a new signing to Red Light Management alongside it. Lee Burridge has released Fading Out — his first solo original production since 2021. Out now via All Day I Dream, the eight-minute track blends deep house grooves with ethereal vocals and organic percussion. Anjunadeep is bringing its Open Air series to New York City's Central Park for the first time, scheduled for July 18th — that's this Saturday. Marlon Hoffstadt — also known as DJ Daddy Trance — will release his album Das Ist Daddy on August 7th. The first single, Party People, dropped on June 25th. The album is described as a tribute to club culture. Ministry of Sound is the subject of a new anthology revisiting the founding years of the institution. Ministry of Sound: Anthology promises to go inside one of the most influential clubs and labels in global dance music history. In Paris today — it being Bastille Day — the southern French electronic music festival Basses Fréquences is setting up at Le Hasard Ludique for an open air party on the rails to mark the national holiday with Manchester duo Blasha & Allatt! Dave Gardner has written about how 36db.live built what they're calling the Sasha Environment — a production education platform built around access to real Ableton projects from artists with defined workflows. It's a different angle from the usual preset-pack cycle, and worth a read if you're into the production side of things. Check it out! And tonight in Ibiza — Hï hosts East End Dubs presents Eastenderz, with Archie Hamilton, Paco Osuna and Franky Rizardo. Over at Pacha, it's RÜFÜS DU SOL with ANOTR. 528 has Pikes Presents Love.House.Disco. — Groove Armada on DJ duties, plus Joe Goddard, Eats Everything and Bushwacka!. And Chinois hosts Appetite with Luuk Van Dijk back to back with Laidlaw, Elliot Schooling and Liam Palmer, Isaac Carter, Tommy Gold, and Yass and Mali. That's it folks! Curated by me, narrated by my AI voice. For the human side, check out our weekly dance music selections, Ibiza club playlists and our DJ mixes. All links in the description. Pocomucho Daily — Monday 13 July 2026

Monday, July 13th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily. Pete Tong has pushed back against claims that he copied John Summit's remix of Everything But The Girl's "Missing." In a statement sent to Resident Advisor on July 10th, Tong's team said the version he developed with Franky Rizardo was created independently. A separate proposed collaboration with Summit, the statement clarified, never moved beyond initial discussions. Sad news from the drum and bass world. Lenzman — DJ, producer and founder of The North Quarter label — has passed away. He had been living with kidney cancer since 2023. A genuine stalwart of the scene and a significant voice in the culture. London venue The Lion & Lamb has cut ties with co-founder Andre King following a wave of abuse allegations shared last weekend. The venue's team stated it will not continue in any business relationships with King. Brunch Electronik Lisbon has revealed its full programme for its 2026 season, which doubles as a ten-year anniversary celebration. Running through to the end of August, the remaining parties will feature Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, Solomun, Sara Landry and Miss Monique among others — following recent editions with Joseph Capriati, Nic Fanciulli and Shimza. Lisbon continues to hold its own. Snowbombing has announced its first wave of artists for its 2027 return. Bicep Live and Fatboy Slim share joint headline duties, Also confirmed in the first wave is Rossi., the UK house DJ whose groove led sets have made him a regular booking across the international circuit. More names are still to come across multiple stages and genres. From Germany, a heads-up for the club and events industry: a planned increase in alcohol tax set to take effect in 2027 is expected to raise purchase prices, push up drinks costs, and add further financial pressure on clubs and promoters. The BBC and Sony Music Vision are teaming up to broadcast Calvin Harris live from Hampden Park on August 1st. The homecoming show will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, bringing the performance to audiences across the UK. Swiss trio D.J.S. — comprising Dymos, Jay Fase and Shizzo — are back with a new single called "Coming Home," a collaboration with vocalist Ode, out now on Tortuga. Their usual blend of melodic deep house and atmospheric electronics arrives right on time with England's football team getting near the final of the World Cup. Coincidence? Now, what's on tonight in Ibiza? Universe is doing Experts Only with John Summit headlining alongside Eli Brown, Colyn and Dreya V. At Amnesia, it's Kettama with VTSS, X Club and Shampain. Hï has an impressive card tonight — Soley with Francis Mercier back-to-back with Aryme, Notre Dame b2b Ramyen, plus Sasson, Nomis, Andrea Oliva. Pacha welcomes Sonny Fodera. And then there's Circoloco at DC10 — arguably the biggest card of the night — with Aline Umber, Carpiar, Petre Inspireşcu, Raresh, Rhadoo, Bambounou, Carlita, Dixon, DJ Gigola, Luke Alessi, Obee, Rony Seikaly, Seth Troxler, Skream, Sossa, Sweely, Tomas Station and Wildealer. Pocomucho Daily — Friday 10 July 2026

Friday, July 10th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D M Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily. Ibiza first — Rendez Vous has its opening night at Maison Le VRAI, right next to Pacha with Iban Mendoza from Gala, Ainsley May and Ben D M Z. Perfect pre-clubbing spot in the Ibiza Marina area. UNTOLD Festival is making a genuinely meaningful move for its 2026 edition — offering free HPV testing and breast ultrasounds to attendees. Complimentary access to professional health consultants will be available close to the event site for all wristband-holders. Snowbombing has dropped its first wave of artists for the 2027 return to Mayrhofen in the Austrian Alps — six days of electronic music and skiing in what is one of the more unique settings on the festival calendar. Artist names are starting to roll out, so keep an eye on that one. A new festival has been announced for 2027 — Shadowlands, set in the historic city of Canterbury. International music, historic surroundings. Details are still emerging. WonkyWilla has released the Disco Wonk EP, a four-tracker that makes his genre-blending ambitions very clear. Built from years of live development, it's his first collection of entirely original music and sits somewhere outside the established lines of bass music. Josh Baker steps into anthem territory with a new track featuring Poppy Baskcombe called My Place. Bellaire, meanwhile, is entering what he's calling his funkiest era — Born Funky is out, and a global tour is following it. BLR, Amber Revival and Soave Records have launched a new label called blooom⋮, dedicated to emotional electronic music. It comes with a dual AM/PM release format, and the first release landed on June 26th. And the Junkyard is making its way to San Diego. The Junkyard Revival is bringing the late-night spirit of the original — art, connection, dance floor energy — to the city this Saturday. oK NOW, what's on tonight? Rendez Vous opens at Maison Le VRAIi with Iban Mendoza, Ainsley May and Ben D M Z, Marco Carola presents Music On at Pach with BLONDISH, Frank Storm, and Kimonos. Amnesia has Glitterbox with Channel Tres, David Morales, Todd Terry, David Penn, and Fat Tony, COVA SANTA Has Woomoon with Viken Arman, Yulia Niko and Hardt Antoine. That's it folks.
