September 27, 2026 | Worship Service 9:30 AM | "How Does God Speak?"

You're going through something heavy. And in that moment you think: "I just wish God would say something. Not something vague. Not something general. Something clear. Something personal. Something just for me." So you open your Bible — and if we're honest, sometimes it feels like you're just reading words on a page. Which leads to a question that a lot of people are afraid to ask out loud: Is God actually speaking to me? Or am I just reading about Him?🎯 Maybe God has felt distant or quiet in a season when you needed Him most...🎯 Maybe you've been opening the Bible out of obligation and not hearing anything that reaches you...🎯 Maybe it's time to discover that God's Word is not just information — it is an invitation, and it is God Himself coming to you.🗝️ Key Takeaways:✔️ The Word of God is living and active — not just something that was spoken in the past, but something that is speaking right now. To you. About you.✔️ The Word of God is not just a book. John 1 makes it clear: the Word is a person. The Word became flesh. The Word is Jesus — and He comes to you through Scripture, through preaching, and through the Lord's Supper.✔️ When you hear "your sins are forgiven," that is not a nice phrase. That is God speaking — and when God speaks, it happens. Your sins are forgiven. Your guilt is removed. You are His.📖 Main Scripture:Hebrews 4:12 (The Word of God is living and active)John 1:1-14 (In the beginning was the Word)#Rooted #HowDoesGodSpeak #WordOfGod #Hebrews4 #John1 #BibleStudy #ChristianFaith #Discipleship #ChristianSermon #Lutheran #ChurchOnline #LiveStream #SheboyganFalls

SERMON | September 20, 2026 | "Rooted: Who Is God?"

📢 If you are one of our faithful YouTube views, we wanted to share a note before you listen: We are aware that we have been experiencing ongoing technical issues with our livestream and are working hard to pinpoint and fix the problem. In the meantime, we didn't want the message to go unheard — so we're sharing this audio-only version of the sermon. Thank you so much for your patience and grace as we work through this! "Rooted: Who is God?" | Matthew 22:41-46 | Rooted SeriesThere's always a question behind the question. When someone asks "Why did this happen?" — the real question is "Does God still care about me?" When someone asks "Why does God allow suffering?" — underneath it is "Can I trust Him?" And before we can talk about serving, giving, or sharing our faith, there's one question that has to come first: Who is God? Jesus asked it to the Pharisees. He's asking it to us today.🎯 Maybe you know all the right answers about Jesus — but aren't sure you actually know Him...🎯 Maybe you've been living as though you are Lord of your own life more than He is...🎯 Maybe it's time to look at Jesus — and discover that in Him, God has already answered every question you've been afraid to ask.🗝️ Key Takeaways:✔️ The Pharisees had the right answer — "The Son of David" — but rejected the one who was the answer. Knowing about Jesus isn't the same as trusting Him as Lord.✔️ Jesus is both Son of David and David's Lord — truly human, truly God. If you want to know who God is, look at Jesus.✔️ The Lord you've ignored, disobeyed, and pushed aside — that Lord came for you. Not to condemn, but to save. He died and rose for every sin, every time you put yourself first.📖 Main Scripture:Matthew 22:41-46 (What do you think about the Christ?)Psalm 110:1 (The Lord said to my Lord)#Rooted #WhoIsGod #Matthew22 #Jesus #Discipleship #ChristianFaith #BibleStudy #ChristianSermon #Lutheran #NewSeries #ChurchOnline #LiveStream #SheboyganFalls

    September 13, 2026 | "Rooted in Joy"

"Rooted: Rooted in Joy" | John 15:1-11 | Rooted Series"Pastor, I know the Bible says I'm supposed to rejoice always… but I just don't have it in me right now." That's where a lot of people live. Not in constant joy — but in fear, exhaustion, and the weight of things that won't go away. So when Jesus says "that your joy may be full," what does that actually mean for someone sitting in a hospital room? For someone who feels spiritually dry? For someone who's tried to manufacture joy and keeps coming up empty?🎯 Maybe joy has started to feel like just another spiritual expectation you can't live up to...🎯 Maybe your faith has become something you do occasionally instead of something foundational...🎯 Maybe it's time to discover that Jesus never said "go find joy" — He said "abide in me."🗝️ Key Takeaways:✔️ Joy is not something you achieve — it's something you receive. Branches don't strain to produce fruit. They stay connected to the vine, and life flows in.✔️ Abiding in Jesus is not vague or mystical. It means returning to where He has promised to meet you: His Word, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper.✔️ Even in the driest seasons, the root holds. Your life in Christ is not about holding on tightly enough — it's about the One who refuses to let go of you.📖 Main Scripture:John 15:1-11 (I am the vine; abide in me)Philippians 4:4 (Rejoice always)#Rooted #RootedInJoy #John15 #AbideInMe #ChristianJoy #Discipleship #ChristianSermon #Lutheran #NewSeries #SheboyganFalls

SERMON | September 6, 2026 | "Lift Up Your Heart: Overcoming Loneliness"

"Lift Up Your Heart: Overcoming Loneliness" | 2 Timothy 4 | Lift Up Your Heart SeriesPicture a cold Wisconsin evening. The sun is already down by 4:30. You pull into the driveway, walk inside, flip on the lights — and the house is quiet in a way that hits differently than it used to. You know plenty of people. You might even sit in a room full of them. But something has shifted, and quietly, the feeling settles in: you feel alone. Today we're talking about that. Not abstractly — but honestly.🎯 Maybe a transition — retirement, loss, an empty nest, a friendship that faded — has left you feeling unmoored...🎯 Maybe you've been pulling back so you don't burden others, and now the distance feels impossible to close...🎯 Maybe it's time to hear that even the greatest missionary who ever lived felt completely alone — and what he discovered in that place.🗝️ Key Takeaways:✔️ Loneliness is not a sign that something is wrong with your faith. It's part of living in a broken world — and Paul, sitting in prison awaiting execution, felt it too.✔️ When everyone else left, Paul said: "The Lord stood by me." That's not just Paul's experience. It's a promise made to you.✔️ Jesus experienced the deepest loneliness of all — separated from the Father on the cross, carrying your sins — so that you would never truly be alone again.📖 Main Scripture:2 Timothy 4:6-18 (Paul's loneliness and God's faithfulness)#LiftUpYourHeart #Loneliness #OvercomingLoneliness #ChristianLoneliness #2Timothy #YouAreNotAlone #Faith #ChristianSermon #Lutheran #ChurchOnline #LiveStream #SheboyganFalls

SERMON | August 30, 2026 | "Lift Up Your Heart: Overcoming Defeat"

"Lift Up Your Heart: Overcoming Defeat" | Romans 8:31-39 | Lift Up Your Heart SeriesWouldn't it be great if life came with an "unbreakable" guarantee? We all know it doesn't. Plans fall apart. Relationships break. We fail, we lose, and the weight of it can leave us feeling completely defeated. Others accuse us. We accuse ourselves. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, we start to wonder — have I gone too far? Is there anything that can actually hold when everything else breaks?🎯 Maybe the charges others have brought against you — or the ones you bring against yourself — are louder than you can handle right now...🎯 Maybe life's hardest moments have made you question whether God is really in control or really on your side...🎯 Maybe it's time to hear one of the most powerful declarations in all of Scripture: "If God is for us, who can be against us?"🗝️ Key Takeaways:✔️ God is not watching from the sidelines — He fought the battle against sin and death for you, and He won. You are justified. The verdict has already been spoken.✔️ Tribulation, distress, danger, fear, financial pressure, shame — none of these can break your connection to Christ's love. "In all these things we are more than conquerors."✔️ Nothing in all creation — not death, not life, not anything present or to come — can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. That love is unbreakable.📖 Main Scripture:Romans 8:31-39 (More than conquerors through him who loved us)#LiftUpYourHeart #OvercomingDefeat #Romans8 #MoreThanConquerors #GodIsForUs #NothingCanSeparateUs #ChristianSermon #Lutheran #Faith #ChurchOnline #LiveStream #SheboyganFalls

SERMON | August 23, 2026 | "Lift Up Your Heart: Overcoming Discouragement

"Lift Up Your Heart: Overcoming Discouragement" | Romans 3:19-26 | Lift Up Your Heart SeriesLosing at Guess Who? No big deal — you just play again. But losing in life feels completely different. When you look at where you thought you'd be by now and you're not there. When you fail again at the same thing. When you don't measure up to your own expectations, let alone anyone else's. That's where discouragement sets in — whispering that your failures define you, that you'll never be enough. Romans 3 speaks directly into that place. And what it says might surprise you.🎯 Maybe you've been measuring yourself against others — either to feel better or to feel worse...🎯 Maybe you've been telling yourself "I just need to try harder" and it keeps not working...🎯 Maybe it's time to stop looking at yourself and look to the one who has already done it all for you.🗝️ Key Takeaways:✔️ Discouragement has two moves: look down at others to feel better, or look inward and feel hopeless. Both are exhausting — because both keep your eyes on yourself.✔️ "All have sinned and fall short" — but the very next verse is the answer: "and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."✔️ God didn't respond to your sin by telling you to try harder. He responded by sending His Son. Game over. Jesus has won.📖 Main Scripture:Romans 3:19-26 (Justified by grace as a gift)John 14:1, 6 (Let not your hearts be troubled)#LiftUpYourHeart #Discouragement #OvercomingDiscouragement #Romans3 #Justified #Grace #ChristianSermon #Lutheran #Faith #ChurchOnline #LiveStream #SheboyganFalls

SERMON | August 16, 2026 | "Lift Up Your Heart: Overcoming Doubt"

"Lift Up Your Heart: Overcoming Doubt" | Psalm 77 & John 6:60-69 | Lift Up Your Heart SeriesDoubt doesn't just live outside the church. It sits with us in hospital rooms. It walks into work with us on Monday morning. It wakes us up in the middle of the night. And if we're honest, even lifelong Christians — people who know the Scriptures, people who have seen God work — wrestle with it. Today we're saying it plainly: doubt doesn't make you less of a Christian. It makes you human. And God's Word meets you there.🎯 Maybe you've been asking hard questions about God but were afraid to say them out loud...🎯 Maybe the fog of doubt has made it hard to see the path in front of you — or whether there's a path at all...🎯 Maybe it's time to hear Peter's honest answer: "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."🗝️ Key Takeaways:✔️ Doubt often attacks in three ways — telling us God isn't able, God doesn't care, and God isn't good. Scripture answers all three with truth, not clichés.✔️ When doubt narrows your vision, remembering expands it. God's track record of faithfulness hasn't changed — and neither has He.✔️ Your standing before God is not based on how certain you feel. It is based on Jesus, who died for your doubts, your questions, and your wavering — and rose again.📖 Main Scripture:Psalm 77 (Honest wrestling with doubt)Isaiah 40:25-26 (The God who holds the galaxies)John 6:60-69 (Lord, to whom shall we go?)#LiftUpYourHeart #Doubt #OvercomingDoubt #ChristianDoubt #Psalm77 #John6 #Faith #ChristianSermon #Lutheran #ChurchOnline #LiveStream #SheboyganFalls

SERMON | August 9, 2026 | "When God Speaks Above the Storm"

"When God Speaks Above the Storm" | Romans 10:5-17 & Matthew 14:22-33 | August 9, 2026Peter stepped out of a boat in the middle of a storm — not because the waves had calmed, but because Jesus called. And the moment he took his eyes off Jesus, he sank. We know that feeling. Life gets loud. Circumstances feel impossible. Fear takes over. And yet — Jesus speaks above the storm. In this message, guest Pastor David Blas of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah and Sheboygan County Hispanic Outreach, brings a powerful word about what it looks like to hear God's voice when everything around you is overwhelming.🎯 Maybe the storms of life have made it hard to hear God's voice above the noise...🎯 Maybe fear has pulled your eyes away from Jesus and onto the waves around you...🎯 Maybe it's time to be reminded that faith comes from hearing — and Jesus is still speaking.🗝️ Key Takeaways:✔️ Jesus doesn't wait for the storm to pass before He shows up — He meets us in the middle of it.✔️ Faith comes by hearing the Word of Christ. When God speaks, it is enough — even above the loudest storms.✔️ We are called not just to hear the Good News, but to go and proclaim it — so that others can hear too.📖 Main Scripture:Romans 10:5-17 (Faith comes from hearing)Matthew 14:22-33 (Jesus walks on water)—🌎 Also in this service: We commissioned our Guatemala Mission Team — who will be heading out on August 9th and return August 19th.
