Freedom of speech is an important aspect when it comes to becoming more educated and feeling heard. However, in today’s generation, cancel culture indirectly partially restricts this. Individuals often feel anxious to be honest about their opinions due to a fear of being canceled. On this podcast, I hope to make more people realize that a disagreement does not equal to disliking someone or speeches of hatred.     Mardom Chi Miga

    The title for this episode is a phrase in Farsi and Dari that every Afghan or Iranian might know. This might be the most motivational speech I have ever given in my entire life. I did not intend for it to become that. Fear of judgement is something that was a serious problem for me a few years ago. To this day, I still have it sometimes. I know other people personally who really struggle with this. It often comes with the fear of having no support system to lean onto and this is something that I feel very negatively about. Therefore, I couldn't help but sit down and talk about this. Enjoy!

    In this episode, I am having a very insightful conversation about a deeper and more sensitive topic with the most philosophical teacher at my university: Pavlos Tarasanski (he is Greek so the philosophical part is not a joke).     Nice to see you are interested :) Let's Be Honest is my podcast where I want to have open and honest conversations with guests about all sorts of topics. I think it is very interesting to hear about other people's opinions about all sorts of things that are happening in the world right now, whether they have a negative or positive opinion. Unfortunately, because of cancel culture, I have noticed that many individuals find it difficult to be open about their thoughts due to a fear of being judged or canceled. I believe that when someone can state their thoughts and opinions in a mature and well structured way, one can say ALMOST anything they want. With my podcast, I hope to reduce cancel culture and to promote a way of life where we start to realise that disagreements are not always an attack or a speech of hatred.
