F*ck Playing It Safe: Beliefs, B+ Lives and the Courage to Go First

In this episode of The Unstuck Edit, I’m getting a bit more vulnerable than usual and talking about the beliefs and values that sit underneath the work I do, the way I live, and the way I support other people. This conversation started with something pretty simple: updating my business plan. But as I reread the “why” behind my work, I realised just how much of it is rooted in a set of beliefs I don’t always say out loud. Not because they aren’t true, but because sharing them publicly can feel exposing. There’s a difference between offering helpful tools and actually saying, this is what I believe. In this episode I’m talking about: why your beliefs and values shape how you show up in life and businessthe difference between beliefs that are truly yours and beliefs you’ve inherited through conditioninghow loyalty, passion and “lioness energy” show up in my own lifethe mindset shift from “why is this happening to me?” to “if this is happening for me, what’s the opportunity?”how my breast cancer diagnosis became a wake-up call to stop settling for a B+ lifewhy I believe mindset, self-trust and inner work matter just as much as style, confidence and external transformationwhat it means to stop diluting yourself and start taking up space as your full, uncommon selfI also share a bit of my own internal nudge, or perhaps full-blown talking-to, around playing small. Around calling myself what I actually am. Around not sanding down the edges of my beliefs to make them easier for other people to digest. If you’ve ever felt stuck, like you’re living a life that’s fine on paper but not fully you, this episode is an invitation to pause and ask: What do I actually believe? What values are guiding my choices? And where am I still playing safe instead of living the life I really want? This one is part reflection, part permission slip, part loving kick up the arse. If it resonates, I’d love to hear from you. Come and tell me what belief, value or truth you’re being invited to lean into right now.

    Feeling OVERWHELMED? Ground Yourself

Feeling Overwhelmed? Here's How to Ground Yourself When Life Feels Chaotic Some weeks simply don't go to plan. In this episode I'm sharing what happened when my carefully organised week completely unravelled...from a poorly dog, medical appointments and changing plans, to trying to squeeze work into tiny pockets of time. Rather than pushing through, it became an opportunity to practise exactly what I teach. In this conversation we'll explore what grounding really means, why feeling "ungrounded" can show up as overwhelm, anxiety or overthinking, and some simple somatic practices you can use to come back to yourself. Whether you're navigating stress, grief, uncertainty, menopause, cancer recovery, big life changes or simply feeling stretched too thin, I hope these tools help you find your footing again.
