Cartoon Breakdown examines the golden age of animation, the 1920s-1960s, when cartoons ran in movie theatres. In each episode, hosts Todd Liebenow and Andy Goulding choose several cartoon shorts and break them down to illustrate that week’s theme, looking at the animation, the directors, the studios, and of course all the jokes and gags that still make these films so much fun.
