    6. God is in the Details | Bobbi's Story

What does it look like to trust God when life doesn't unfold the way you hoped? In this episode, I'm joined by my friend Bobbi, host of The Vulnerable Heart podcast, as she shares her journey of faith, and learning to surrender to God's will even when the answers weren't what she expected. We’ll talk about walking through grief with hope, trusting in God’s plan, how God is truly in the details and how seemingly ordinary moments can reveal an extraordinary God.  If this episode encouraged you, please consider following the podcast, leaving a rating or review, and sharing it with someone who could use a little encouragement today. 5. What a Gift!

Have you ever wondered what your spiritual gift might be... or whether those gifts are even still around today? In this episode of You Gotta Have Faith! I’ll take a look at spiritual gifts, what Scripture says about their purpose, and why Christians sometimes come to different conclusions about them. We'll explore the gifts themselves, discuss both the continuationist and cessationist viewpoints, and most importantly, come back to the heart of Paul's message: that spiritual gifts were never meant to build ourselves up, but to build up the body of Christ. Whether you've never heard of spiritual gifts or you've been studying them for years, I hope this episode encourages you to faithfully use whatever gifts God has given you to serve His kingdom. Have you ever wondered, “Okay, I’ve accepted Jesus — now what?” If so, this is the episode for you! In this episode, I talk honestly about what spiritual growth has looked like for me and why following Jesus is less about instant transformation and more about a daily process of surrendering. I’ll share practical thoughts on reading the Bible, praying in real life scenarios, the importance of community, and being patient with yourself as you grow. Whether you’re brand new to faith or just feeling stuck, I hope this episode reminds you that you’re not alone — and that spiritual growth takes time.   Sources referred to in the podcast today: ESV Study Bible The Bible Project Where to find me: Email: yougottahavefaithpod@gmail.com Instagram: yougottahavefaithpod Disclaimer:  The topics discussed on this podcast may include faith, culture, technology, current events, and personal experiences.
