    Understanding the Mass-Episode 1

Understanding the Mass begins with understanding its meaning. The Mass is the Church’s greatest prayer, yet many Catholics feel unsure about what each part really means. Join us for Part One of Understanding the Mass and deepen your understanding of this great mystery. In this first Episode, listen as our Guest, Fr. Shajir Pech walks us gently through the first half of the Mass — the gathering, the call to repentance, the proclamation of God’s Word, the homily that breaks it open, and the Prayers of the Faithful that lift our needs to heaven.  It’s a  practical look at how God speaks and how we respond. Discover how these opening moments prepare us to meet Christ, help us to  grow in love for the Eucharist and rediscover the beauty of our faith.

    Mary-The Way to Jesus_Part 2

“If you offend my mother, I’m not staying silent... I’m going to defend my mother’s honor.” In this final episode of a two-part series entitled, Mary, The Way to Jesus, Podcast host Pete Castillo continues his conversation with Fr. Zachary Shallow of the Mother of God. In Part One, we explored the power of Mary’s “yes” — a yes that opened the door for God’s plan and revealed what trust, surrender, and discipleship look like in real life. In Part Two, we go deeper by turning to the titles the Church gives her and the essential truths behind them — truths that are not up for negotiation in our life of faith. Fr. Zach puts it plainly: “If you offend my mother, I’m not staying silent. I’m not being defensive, but I’m going to defend my mother’s honor.” That conviction is a doorway into understanding who Mary truly is and why the Church speaks of her with such love and clarity. Join us as we unpack these truths and discover how each one leads us more fully to Jesus.

What we Believe- The Creed as our Compass

What We Believe – The Creed as Our Compass is a journey into the heart of the Christian faith, guided by the words we profess every Sunday. In a world full of competing voices and shifting values, the Creed stands as a steady guide—rooting us in truth, shaping our identity, and drawing us into a deeper relationship with God. In this episode, Fr. Julius Mwai, Pastor of St. Ignatius Parish in Belize City helps to unpack the meaning behind the Creed—not as a list of abstract statements, but as a living profession of faith that speaks to our everyday lives. From the mystery of the Trinity to the person of Jesus Christ, and the life of the Church, we explore what it truly means to say, “I believe.” Whether you’ve prayed the Creed your whole life or are hearing it with fresh ears, this conversation invites you to rediscover it as a compass that points us toward truth, unity, and a personal encounter with God.
