My Honest Advice for Women With Chronic Diarrhea? Stop Listening to Your Doctor.

📌 Watch my webinar on my new IBS-D Freedom Method: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register I'm a registered nurse and I'm telling you to stop listening to your doctor. I know how that sounds. But after 12 years in the ICU and years of my own chronic diarrhea, I saw exactly why conventional medicine keeps women stuck instead of healed. In this episode, I'm going to explain why the medical system is built to manage your chronic diarrhea instead of fixing it, and what I did differently to actually get rid of mine for good. TIMESTAMPS  0:00 My Honest Advice for Women With Chronic Diarrhea? Stop Listening to Your Doctor. 0:15 The chronic diarrhea life you already know  0:28 Why conventional medicine keeps you sick  0:55 The real business model behind IBS management  1:20 The ICU story that changed how I see medicine  1:56 What it's really like inside the system  2:29 Why every GI doctor gives you the same answer  2:41 What basic stool tests actually miss  3:00 My own IBS story and what fixed it  3:39 What to do instead of managing forever QUESTIONS ANSWERED  Why does my doctor say my IBS test results are normal but I still have diarrhea?  Standard stool tests only check for a handful of markers like parasites, H. pylori, blood, and mucus. They do not test for yeast overgrowth, bacterial imbalance, or mold, which are common hidden causes of chronic diarrhea. Can chronic diarrhea from IBS actually be cured instead of just managed?  Yes. Chronic diarrhea often has an identifiable root cause that functional testing can uncover, and addressing that cause can resolve symptoms completely instead of just controlling them with medication. Why do multiple GI doctors give me the same IBS diagnosis?  Most GI doctors are trained through the same conventional medical education and rely on the same limited standard testing, so they tend to reach the same conclusion regardless of which doctor you see. 📱 RESOURCES  Website: www.therootedrn.com  Webinar: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theibssolution/  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/digestivewellness 🔔 Subscribe for weekly episodes on why conventional testing keeps missing the root cause of chronic diarrhea and IBS, and what functional medicine finds instead. Why Your Gut Fell Apart During Perimenopause (It Was Never a Hormone Problem)

📌 Watch my webinar on my new IBS-D Freedom Method: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Hormone replacement therapy will not fix your gut if your gut fell apart during perimenopause or menopause. Everyone points at your hormones. They are not seeing the full picture. Maybe you tried HRT and felt a little better, but the urgency and diarrhea are still there. In this episode, I'm going to explain why the hormone story feels so convincing, what was actually happening in your gut the whole time, and what to do about it. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS  0:00 Why Your Gut Fell Apart During Perimenopause (It Was Never a Hormone Problem) 0:38 The perimenopause gut story everyone believes  1:33 What hormones actually do in the gut  2:43 How estrogen and progesterone buffer gut dysfunction  4:00 What advanced testing actually finds  5:30 Questions to ask about your own gut history  6:45 Why your story is common, not rare  7:40 Why hormones alone can't fix bacterial overgrowth  8:30 What a real treatment plan looks like ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED  Does perimenopause cause chronic diarrhea?  Perimenopause does not directly cause chronic diarrhea. It often reveals a gut imbalance, like bacterial overgrowth or depleted beneficial bacteria, that was already present but was being buffered by estrogen and progesterone. Why did hormone replacement therapy not fix my gut symptoms?  Hormones can reduce gut inflammation and support motility, but they cannot eliminate bacterial overgrowth, replace depleted keystone bacteria, or repair a damaged gut lining. That is why HRT often brings partial relief that plateaus. Why do gut problems appear suddenly during menopause if they were not there before?  The gut problem was usually there for years, just hidden. Estrogen and progesterone were compensating for the imbalance, and when those hormones declined, the underlying dysfunction finally became visible. 📱 RESOURCES  Website: www.therootedrn.com  Webinar: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theibssolution/  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/digestivewellness 🔔 Subscribe for weekly episodes on why conventional testing keeps missing the root cause of chronic diarrhea and IBS, and what functional medicine finds instead. Before You Work With Me, Watch This If You Have Chronic Diarrhea…

📌 Watch my webinar on my new IBS-D Freedom Method: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Here is what separates the women who heal from the ones who stay stuck. It is not the severity of your symptoms. It is whether you are actually ready to do something different. I saw three GI doctors for my own severe IBS before I fixed it myself. Every one ran the same tests, got the same normal results, and said the same thing: just manage it. I stopped asking and started studying. Fixed my own gut, then helped over 500 others. Everything I'm about to share comes from living both sides of this. In this episode, I'm going to walk you through the three things I look for in every woman before we start working together, and two patient stories that show what becomes possible when all three are true. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS  0:00 Before You Work With Me, Watch This If You Have Chronic Diarrhea… 0:22 Brooke's story: three GI doctors and one useless answer  1:03 Question 1: Are you still hoping your current doctor will fix this?  1:43 Why conventional medicine cannot solve this for good  1:49 Question 2: Are you ready to follow one plan all the way through?  2:06 The two-drivers analogy  2:59 Karen's story: from a bucket in the car to normal bowel function  3:52 Question 3: Can you handle a rough patch without quitting?  4:25 Judy's story: Crohn's diagnosis, root cause found, full recovery  6:32 Before your consultation: one question to sit with first ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED Q: Why does chronic diarrhea keep coming back even after seeing multiple GI doctors?  A: Conventional medicine is built to manage symptoms, not find what is causing them. Standard GI testing rules out cancer, bleeding, and common infections. It does not map the full gut environment, including harmful bacteria, parasites, yeast, or depleted beneficial strains that are often driving chronic diarrhea. Until those are found and cleared, symptoms return because the actual cause was never addressed. (1:43) Q: What kind of testing does functional medicine use that standard GI testing misses?  A: Advanced functional stool testing maps the full gut environment, including specific harmful bacterial species known to drive inflammation, parasites, yeast, short-chain fatty acid levels, and missing beneficial strains. These findings explain years of urgency and loose stool that kept coming back as normal on every standard panel. They require different tests, not different symptoms. (2:59) Q: What kind of women get the best results working with Brooke Kane?  A: Not necessarily the ones with the mildest symptoms. The women who do best are the ones who have accepted that conventional medicine has taken them as far as it can, are ready to commit to one plan all the way through, and can handle a rough patch without deciding it means something failed. That last part trips up a lot of motivated women because nobody warned them what real healing actually feels like. Can You Really Stop Chronic Diarrhea in 12 Weeks? (An RN's Honest Answer)

📌 Watch my webinar on my new IBS-D Freedom Method: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Someone told you that you have IBS and you'll have it forever. That was not a medical conclusion. It just means that doctor ran out of answers. Over 500 women have come to me having been told the exact same thing, and almost every one of them did not have a permanent condition. They had a gut full of things no one had ever looked for. In this episode, I'm going to show you what actually determines how long chronic diarrhea takes to fix, how to assess where you personally stand, and what an honest answer looks like for your specific gut. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS  0:00 - Can You Really Stop Chronic Diarrhea in 12 Weeks? (An RN's Honest Answer) 0:57 - The Two Timelines Women With Chronic Diarrhea Always Hear  1:38 - Why How Long You've Been Sick Is Not the Main Factor  2:20 - What Actually Determines Your Personal Healing Timeline  3:18 - What Advanced Gut Testing Finds That Standard Labs Miss  4:06 - Three Questions to Assess Your Own Timeline Right Now  5:31 - Fast Healers vs. Women Who Need More Time: The Real Difference  6:45 - Why the First Phase Works Before Pathogens Are Addressed  8:02 - The One Question to Ask Every Gut Health Practitioner ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED Can you stop chronic diarrhea permanently?  In most cases, yes. Chronic diarrhea is not a permanent condition. It is driven by specific imbalances inside the gut, and when those are identified through comprehensive testing, symptoms resolve. How long does it take to heal IBS with functional medicine?  Most clients notice the first changes within one to two weeks. Full resolution typically takes 12 weeks when testing confirms what is driving symptoms and the protocol is built around those specific findings. What is the difference between a standard stool test and functional gut testing?  Standard stool cultures rule out a handful of specific infections. A comprehensive functional test maps the full gut environment, including bacterial species, yeast, parasites, short chain fatty acids, gut lining integrity, and immune markers. 📱 RESOURCES  Website: www.therootedrn.com  Webinar: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theibssolution/  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/digestivewellness 🔔 Subscribe for weekly episodes on why conventional testing keeps missing the root cause of chronic diarrhea and IBS, and what functional medicine finds instead. After Helping 500 Women Get Rid of IBS, I Stopped Recommending Low FODMAP

📌 Watch my webinar on my new IBS-D Freedom Method: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register After helping over 500 women get rid of IBS, I stopped recommending low FODMP. You have cut out onions, garlic, apples, and half the grocery store. You track every meal, and you are still running to the bathroom after foods you have eaten a hundred times before. That is not a compliance problem. It is a gut environment problem, and no diet on earth will fix what is actually living inside your gut. In this episode, I'm going to walk you through why low FODMAP kept failing my most symptomatic clients, what functional testing revealed when I stopped leading with diet, and the three questions you need to ask yourself before cutting another food. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS  0:00 Why I stopped recommending low FODMAP to women with IBS  0:46 Why low FODMAP has solid research (and why I believed it)  1:31 The women it helps vs. the ones it leaves behind  2:40 What actually happens when you follow it strictly  3:31 The real cost: nutrient loss, isolation, fire still burning  4:11 Case study: 2 years on low FODMAP, food list laminated, still 5-8 trips a day  5:00 What functional testing found (and why food was never the issue)  5:24 3 questions to ask yourself right now  6:07 IBS is not a food problem. It is an environment problem.  7:53 Why low FODMAP is like painting walls over mold ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED Does low FODMAP work for chronic IBS diarrhea?  Low FODMAP can reduce some symptoms temporarily, but it does not address the bacterial overgrowth, yeast, or depleted beneficial bacteria that are actually driving chronic urgency and diarrhea. Most women who follow it strictly still have symptoms because the gut environment is never treated. What is actually causing chronic IBS diarrhea if food is not the problem?  Chronic urgency is most often driven by imbalances inside the gut, including bacterial overgrowth, parasites, yeast, and depleted keystone species. No dietary change can remove those organisms, and they do not go away on their own. What functional tests should I ask for if I have IBS?  Advanced functional stool testing that evaluates bacterial overgrowth, yeast, parasites, keystone bacteria levels, short-chain fatty acids, and gut immune markers. Standard colonoscopies and routine blood panels will not show these. 📱 RESOURCES  Website: www.therootedrn.com  Webinar: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theibssolution/  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/digestivewellness 🔔 Subscribe for weekly episodes on why conventional testing keeps missing the root cause of chronic diarrhea and IBS, and what functional medicine finds instead. If You're Tired of Being Told Your Labs Are Normal While You're Still Suffering With IBS, Watch This

📌 Watch my webinar on my new IBS-D Freedom Method: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register A clean colonoscopy does not mean your gut is fine. It means the test found nothing structurally wrong. Nobody told you that standard GI testing was never designed to look at the living environment inside your gut. That's where your symptoms are, and it has never been tested. In this episode, I'm going to show you what standard GI tests actually measure, what they were never built to find, and what consistently shows up when someone finally runs the right tests. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS  0:00 If You're Tired of Being Told Your Labs Are Normal While You're Still Suffering With IBS, Watch This 1:12 What Those Tests Were Never Designed to Measure  1:58 The Dimension of Gut Health That Gets Completely Ignored  2:53 How the Gut Environment Drives Urgency and Chronic Diarrhea  4:15 5 Signs This Applies to Your Situation  5:54 What Functional Testing Actually Finds  6:53 Bacterial Overgrowth, Depleted Keystones, and Gut Lining Breakdown  8:43 How to Know Whether You Have Been Properly Tested  9:15 What to Do Starting Tonight ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED  Why did my colonoscopy come back normal if I still have IBS symptoms?  A colonoscopy is designed to find structural damage like polyps, ulcers, or disease. It was never built to assess the bacterial balance, yeast levels, or gut lining integrity inside your colon. Normal colonoscopy results mean nothing structural was found, not that your gut is functioning properly. What does functional gut testing measure?  Functional testing maps bacterial species at a species level, yeast and parasite presence, short chain fatty acid production, immune markers, and gut lining integrity. These are the factors that standard GI tests do not assess and where chronic IBS symptoms typically originate. Can IBS be caused by something a standard doctor's test would miss?  Yes. Significant overgrowth of inflammatory bacterial species, depleted keystone bacteria, Candida overgrowth, parasites, and severely low secretory IgA are all measurable findings that are completely invisible on a standard colonoscopy, blood panel, or stool culture. 📱 RESOURCES  Website: www.therootedrn.com  Webinar: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theibssolution/  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/digestivewellness 🔔 Subscribe for weekly episodes on why conventional testing keeps missing the root cause of chronic diarrhea and IBS, and what functional medicine finds instead. I Saw 3 GI Doctors for My Own IBS. They Were All Wrong. Here's What I Found Instead.

📌 Watch my webinar on my new IBS-D Freedom Method: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register You went to the doctor. Everything came back normal. But you have not left the house without knowing where every bathroom is for years. You are not imagining this, and you are not a difficult case. The tests that keep coming back clean were never designed to find what is actually wrong with you. In this episode, I'm going to show you what I used to believe about getting answers from the medical system, the moment that belief broke, and what advanced functional testing finds that a colonoscopy is simply not built to look for. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 0:00 I Saw 3 GI Doctors for My Own IBS. They Were All Wrong. Here's What I Found Instead. 1:43 The loop: tested, normal, Imodium, low FODMAP, back to normal, repeat 3:07 The moment my trust in conventional medicine broke 3:56 How functional medicine asked a completely different question 4:23 What I found when I ran advanced testing on myself for the first time 5:36 Why standard tests are built to rule out emergencies, not map the gut 7:07 The flooding basement metaphor that explains every clean colonoscopy 7:31 What to do tonight before your next appointment with anyone ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED Why does my colonoscopy keep coming back normal when my symptoms are so severe? A colonoscopy is designed to find cancer, bleeding, and structural damage. It is not designed to assess the bacteria, yeast, parasites, or fatty acid levels living in your gut environment. A clean scope means no tumor or bleed. It does not mean your gut is healthy. What does advanced functional stool testing find that a standard test misses? Advanced functional testing maps the full gut environment: beneficial and harmful bacteria, yeast overgrowth, parasites, short-chain fatty acids, immune function, mold markers, and detox pathways. That data explains why the diarrhea and urgency exist and what specifically needs to be addressed. If I've been told it's IBS, what should I actually do next? IBS is a description of your symptoms, not a diagnosis of what is causing them. Write down every test you have had and what was found. Then write down every symptom you are still living with despite those clean results. That gap is exactly where your real answer is hiding. 📱 RESOURCES Website: www.therootedrn.com Webinar: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theibssolution/  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/digestivewellness 🔔 Subscribe for weekly episodes on why conventional testing keeps missing the root cause of chronic diarrhea and IBS, and what functional medicine finds instead. Stop Taking Probiotics. Here’s Why.

📌 Watch my webinar on my new IBS-D Freedom Method: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register If probiotics helped IBS, most people with IBS would not still have IBS. The thinking behind a probiotic is that your gut is empty and needs something added. Your gut is not empty. It is full of things that were there before the probiotic arrived, and some of those things are exactly what is causing the problem. In this episode, I'm going to show you what advanced testing actually finds in the gut of someone with chronic diarrhea and urgency, why adding a probiotic into that environment first makes things worse for most women, and the one specific type that behaves differently from everything else on the market. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 0:00 Stop Taking Probiotics. Here’s Why 1:30 Biofilms: why bacteria, yeast, and parasites in your gut are protected from anything you add on top 2:20 What an advanced functional stool test actually finds before any treatment starts 3:10 The correct sequence: find what is there, address it, create the right environment, then rebuild 4:05 Why adding a probiotic before you know what you have can feed the problem instead of fix it 4:55 The one type of probiotic that behaves differently: Mega Spore Biotic by Microbiome Labs 5:50 What spore-based probiotics do that standard probiotics cannot 6:40 What to do tonight: audit every supplement you are currently taking and ask why ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED Why would a probiotic make IBS symptoms worse? A probiotic adds bacteria into an environment that may already contain yeast overgrowth, parasites, or harmful bacteria protected by biofilms. Adding more bacteria on top without addressing what is already there can feed the problem instead of resolve it. What does advanced stool testing find that a standard test misses? Advanced functional stool testing maps the full gut environment: bacterial balance, yeast and mold overgrowth, parasites, inflammatory markers, and immune function. That picture shows whether it is safe to add anything into the gut or whether something needs to be cleared first. What is a spore-based probiotic and how is it different? Spore-based probiotics like Mega Spore Biotic survive stomach acid intact and activate in the large intestine where most gut dysfunction happens. Most standard probiotics do not survive the trip. 📱 RESOURCES Website: www.therootedrn.com Webinar: https://www.theibsfreelife.com/register Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theibssolution/  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/digestivewellness 🔔 Subscribe for weekly episodes on why conventional testing keeps missing the root cause of chronic diarrhea and IBS, and what functional medicine finds instead.
