Erik, Mike, and Shaun kicked back on the "We're Still Cool, Right?" podcast, showing off their new bar cart and mixing up a killer Blueberry Pancake Bourbon cocktail — shoutout to Benz Beverage Depot. The guys chatted sports, including the Cubs clinching playoffs and fantasy football drama, then dove deep into the Madden Curse history. Mike's also hyped about his new PS5 Wolverine Edition. Big news — they're opening for the Confused Breakfast podcast live show on October 10th in Cedar Rapids. Classic dudes-hanging-out energy throughout.

The guys are back and pumped for football season! Mike, Erik, and Shaun crack jokes about fantasy football team names, with Mike's Marshawn Lynch reference falling flat at his new job. Mike also vents about his $800 Traeger smoker ruining his rib cookout for the Iowa State game. Episode #83: The Breakfast Cereal Bracket

On a new episode of We're Still Cool, Right?, Erik, Mike, and Shaun settle in with a Penelope pre-mixed blackberry old fashioned before launching into a 32-cereal bracket showdown. The conversation is packed with laughs, strong opinions, and even a few phone-a-friend moments to settle tough matchups. After a journey through childhood classics and heated debates, one cereal claims the crown—and, of course, they’d all happily drink the leftover milk.

Episode #82: Recipe Websites / Cottage Cheese

Erik, Mike, and Shaun crack open some drinks and dive straight into chaos, starting with Mike nearly missing the recording entirely. The drink of the week is a Drunken Monkey, packed with coconut rum, pineapple juice, and bitters. The guys ranted about nightmare recipe websites drowning in pop-ups and ads, debated the underrated greatness of cottage cheese, and somehow ended up planning a tailgate podcast at an Iowa State game. Throw in some Tom Cruise trash talk, a dad joke, and a Gordon Ramsay one-liner, and you have a solid hang.

Episode #81: Back to School with 3D Printing

Can we handle back to school with 3D printing projects? We test if we are still cool enough to keep up with the kids. Join Eric, Mike, and Sean for another round of our nostalgia podcast as we navigate the strange transition into middle age. While sipping drinks, we attempt to bridge the gap between our fading youth and modern tech, specifically looking at how 3D printing fits into the school year. It is a messy, honest look at trying to remain relevant when the world seems to be moving faster than we are. We break down the hilarity of attempting new hobbies while questioning our own coolness. This episode is perfect for anyone who feels slightly out of touch but wants to laugh about the absurdity of aging. Whether you are a parent or just someone dealing with the passage of time, we hope our chaotic experiment gives you a reason to smile. Episode #80: Movie Quotes / Silencers / Speakerphone in Public

The guys are back together on "We're Still Cool, Right?" and they're wasting no time cracking open some wild drinks from Benz Beverage Depot — including Green Chartreuse, which basically tastes like grandpa's aftershave. Erik's officially back after his "big money" absence, and the crew celebrates with a killer collaboration stout. Between sips, they debate whether silencers are cool, roast people who blast speakerphone in public, and explore a fun new movie quote addition to the podcast. Just dudes hanging out, drinking, and keeping it real.

    Episode 79: Mountain Dew/Bird Poop/Awkward Celebrity Interviews

Mike and Shaun kicked back on We're Still Cool, Right?—with Erik absent from today's episode—covering everything from Olivia Wilde's indie flick The Invite to whipping up their own cocktail, the Lucky Bomb — Diet Mountain Dew, Curacao, and Jäger. They went deep on Mountain Dew's rise and fall from cool, swapped stories about coffee habits, sugar intake, and Shaun's absolutely brutal bird poop car disaster. They also riffed on awkward celebrity interviews, the real Wolf of Wall Street doc, and capped it off with some dad jokes. Just two guys hanging out, keeping it real.

Episode 78: Baseball Gloves, Game Jerseys, and Bidets

Mike, Erik, and Shaun got together for another laid-back episode of "We're Still Cool Right?" The guys knocked back some bourbon pineapple whiskey sours while covering all the bases. Shaun's son caught a live ball at a Cubs-Cardinals game, which was pretty damn cool. They debated whether wearing sports jerseys is still acceptable outside of game day, argued about ice makers, and somehow ended up talking about bidets. Mike also scored a vintage Bose player at a tag sale for ten bucks. Good drinks, good laughs, solid episode.
