Send me Suggestions, Feedback, or Divine Dialogue Messages Harry Discovers the Stone in the Mirror Scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSItf2y7hgs In the finale of our Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone series, we return to one of the most powerful symbols in the entire story: the Mirror of Erised. Harry descends into the belly of the castle expecting to find Snape. Instead, he finds Quirrell, Voldemort, and the mirror waiting for him. But this time, the mirror does not show Harry his parents. It shows him the Sorcerer’s Stone already in his pocket. And that changes everything. In Part 1 of the Mirror of Erised, we explored how the mirror shows us what we think we lack. In Part 2, we explore what happens when the mirror reflects the truth of someone who has remembered they are already whole. This episode unpacks the Sorcerer’s Stone as a symbol of inner alchemy, immortality, and the divine spark within us. Harry does not receive the stone because he wants to possess it. He receives it because he has already begun alchemizing his grief into love, connection, friendship, and belonging. I also explore what I call the mirror’s dual temptation: feast and famine. Feast is the glowing mirror. The external validation. The moment something outside of you seems to finally soothe the ache. Famine is the dark mirror. The waiting. The begging. The sitting before the reflection, hoping the external power source will return. But the mirror was never meant to become a place where we live. It was meant to show us what we keep forgetting, and then send us back into life. As Dumbledore says, do not dwell on dreams and forget to live. This episode also includes one of the most personal mirrors I’ve shared so far: a recent experience with unrequited love, an unexpected call from my ex, and the strange, cosmic way I found myself standing between the mirror of the past and the mirror of the hoped-for future. And for the first time, I did not collapse into either one. I stayed in the center. In wholeness. In remembrance. In presence. That is what this episode is really about. Not avoiding longing. Not pretending desire does not hurt. Not becoming spiritual by cutting off parts of yourself. But learning how to feel it all while still remembering who you are. Because whatever the mirror is showing you, whether it glows with hope or darkens with absence, it is not bigger than you. The stone was always in your pocket. You just have to remember. In this episode, we explore: Harry receiving the Sorcerer’s Stone through the Mirror of ErisedWhy the mirror can show both illusion and truthThe difference between reflection and rewardThe Sorcerer’s Stone as a symbol of alchemy, immortality, and inner wholenessWhy Voldemort cannot receive the stoneThe mirror’s dual temptation of feast and famineExternal validation, lack, longing, and spiritual remembranceInternal Family Systems, parts work, and the wounded part that sees lackThe connection between the Sorcerer’s Stone and Balto’s white wolfWhat it means to return to yourself after heartbreakWhy spirituality is not about avoiding emotion, but feeling everything with peace underneath itDivine Dialogue Questions What would you see standing in the mirror today? Has it changed over the years? What can you do now that would remind you there is so much more than just what you would see? What are you being tempted by with the glowing mirror? Where are you sitting before the dark mirror, waiting for something outside of you to return and make you feel alive? Where are you being invited to sit in the center, feel it all, and still remember who you are? Closing This concludes our Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone series. Next Friday, we begin The Lion King. Until next time, remember: You are enough as you are. The mirror is a gift to show you what you have forgotten, not a way to chase the ghost of lack. The stone was always in your pocket. You just have to remember.
