While attending a training in Glendale, California, I woke before dawn and drove to Pasadena City Hall to photograph the sunrise. What began as a quiet morning with my camera turned into an unexpected conversation with a stranger. We talked about life, creativity, community, and the small moments that often stay with us longer than the milestones.
