I checked this podcast out as I have a deep love for film. I am a Christian, and I have a blog where I write about films from a Christian perspective, I am also launching a YouTube channel soon doing the same. I love the power of film and what it is capable of. Even in today's society, there are many great lessons to be learned from movies of all kinds, including action, fantasy, and even horror/thrillers. I often times look at Christian movie review sites etc out of curiosity. That's how I came across this podcast. The Avengers Infinity War episode caught my eye, so I checked it out on my commute to work. I typically disagree with most "christian movie review" sites and articles, but I wanted to give it a chance, and listened to the end. My conclusion is that it was NOT a movie review. This was two guys pushing their own agenda. The pair only discussed the actual movie for a total of 5 minutes (maybe). I respect that they each have their own opinion on the film, but they constantly address the movie and its creator's "agenda" without properly discussing the film itself in a critical way. Instead, impossing their own personal agenda about the state of our society to listeners.
It's platforms like this that made me want to start a blog and YouTube channel, to properly address and analyze film from both a creative, and Christian persepective.
