I just can't get enough of twee/C86/fuzzy indie pop music so thank Margaret Thatcher this podcast exists, and thank you, to the unnamed wonderful individual for so expertly compiling it all in this lovingly crafted mix. Less talk, more rock, all killer no filler. All your fave raves are here. I really loved the Shonen Knife show! And to the previous "reviewer," where do you get off critiquing a style of music you clearly know nothing about?? First of all, romance and peversion are inherently intwined. To think they are mutually exclusive is incredibly naive and silly. And, quite frankly, what is wrong with that?? Twee/C86 is no exception to this rule. It is quite often lyrically dark and subversive, ocasionally obscene, belied by the chiming guitars and lilting harmonies. It is definitely not your polished to a glistening sheen radio pop of yore, though it is by far more interesting and authentic. This dichotomy is precisely why we love it. If you're looking for "dumb J pop," stick to Asian Station or one of the other myriad of fangirl-type podcasts. You really shouldn't make too much of spectacle of yourself whilst treading in the unfamiliar.

My favorite music podcast, I'm a huge twee hugger so this show absolutely hits all the right spots for me. I encourage the author to do more shows, I'll always be listening.

Music was okay but uh, not exactly romantic lol perhaps a better word would be: perverted. The mix was still good though, just not my style is all. Others may realy love it- heck if I know I'm just a dumb J pop girl lol...
