    Women of Troy to take on Clemson in NCAA tournament; Trojans land two five-stars

    The USC Triple-Double Podcast -- the Peristyle's basketball-focused podcast -- returns with Shotgun Spratling and India Otto previewing the opening weekend of the NCAA tournament where the No. 9-seed Women of Troy will face off against No. 8-seed Clemson with the winner likely to face regional top seed South Carolina. The podcasting duo open the show with a Triple-Double segment focused on wrapping up the 2025-26 season for Eric Musselman's USC men's basketball team.     Sean Allen talks electric start to season for USC pitchers

    The Dedeaux Download Podcast returns with Shotgun Spratling and podcast co-host Kasey Kazliner breaking down another strong week of action for USC baseball despite the Trojans suffering their first loss of the season in the midst of Midwestern snowstorm. They also talk with the conductor of USC's elite production on the mound, pitching coach Sean Allen, about how his hurlers have been able to have so much success this season.     USC football spring break report following seven full team practices

    In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham, RJ Abeytia and intern India Otto are back in studio breaking down the what they saw and heard from the first two weeks of USC spring football practice. Head coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans held seven workouts over the first couple weeks of practice including four in full pads. With 31 true freshman and a handful of transfers and a few new coaches joining the program, it was a great opportunity for everyone to come together, try to get on the same page and really work towards building a winning squad for 2026. The crew was at all six practices that were open to the media, including a full practice viewing period on Friday before the team headed into spring break. They discuss everything they saw and heard from the workouts and give their take on how new defensive coordinator Gary Patterson has advanced the defense, who some of the standout players were, true freshmen and transfers that stood out and lots more.     Trojan spring football rolls on with back-to-back padded practices

    In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham, RJ Abeytia and intern India Otto are back in studio discussing everything they have seen and heard during the first six practices of USC spring football. On Friday the Trojans put the pads on for the first time before Saturday's closed Coliseum workout. The team was back out in full pads on Tuesday and Wednesday, with several offensive and defensives players speaking to the media after practice as well as head coach Lincoln Riley. The crew was at all of the open workouts and share their thoughts on which players were out or limited so far, some of the unique special teams drills we have seen, how some of the young players are coming along and what differences they have seen with new defensive coordinator Gary Patterson running things on that side of the ball. They also talk about the huge number of recruits that have been visiting all of the practices, some of the former players that have stopped by including wide receiver Marqise Lee and Thursday's USC Pro Day.     USC hoops combined losing streaks reach 11 as Trojan men head to B1G Tournament

    The USC Triple-Double Podcast -- the Peristyle's basketball-focused podcast -- returns with Shotgun Spratling and Ahmad Akkaoui filling in to break down the latest news and recent struggles of ⁠⁠USC⁠⁠ men's and women's basketball. The Trojan men finished the regular season dropping their final seven games after suffering a pair of humbling losses to West Coast foes, falling by 19 points at Washington after holding a three-point lead at halftime and then getting blown out by 21 against UCLA with way too much baby blue cheering in the Galen Center. On the women's side, USC dropped its fourth straight game with a disappointing single-game showing in the Big Ten Tournament, falling to Washington by 12 points after the Women of Troy scored just 20 points in the first half. Shotgun and Ahmad break down all the latest action and look at what it will take for the Trojan men to go on a miraculous run in the Big Ten Tournament, starting with a rematch of the Washington team that just beat them soundly in Seattle.
