Look forward to each episode
You know how some podcasts are background noise you put on to keep you company w a chore? This is not that. The stories, editing and producing keep your attention. You’re invested in the story and curious about its outcome.
Excellent storytelling
Some wonderful stories have been told on this podcast. Like The Moth podcast, if you enjoy live storytelling, you don’t want to miss this one.
And I will apologize here to the host of the show, because I’ve listened to some of his stories, and I don’t care for the fictional ones. He tries too hard to sell the fictional stories.
His real life has been quite fascinating, having been raised in the apocalyptic cult run by Herbert W. Armstrong. As a religious teenager, one without parental direction, I rarely missed an episode of Reverend Armstrong’s television show. he had me convinced the end of the world was around the corner, and, if I had any money at all, I probably would’ve sent him some like all the other dopes who listened to his nonsense.
The stories about what life was like inside the cult should not be missed. I was in California a few years ago, and went to the headquarters of that organization. It has been rented out for occasional use as a television or movie shooting set, but otherwise it is a shadow of what it used to be. Certainly worth bypassing the barricades and “keep out” signs. And Snap Judgment is definitely worth trying.
Great Listening!!
This is such a great podcast. Such a great listen! Love the stories and production. Well done!!
