    Interview with Marcus Ross

    Dr. Woodward interviews Marcus R. Ross, an American vertebrate paleontologist, with the focus on his capturing of national attention (and a front page story in the New York Times) upon receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island. What controversy catapulted him to the front page? It boils down to one unusual fact: Even though his highly skeptical views on evolution were at odds with the pro-evolution convictions of his professors (who supervised his doctoral studies), he was granted his Ph.D. with no hesitation whatsoever. Dr. Ross explains this fascinating journey in the interview. He is an Assistant Professor of Geology in the Biology/Chemistry Department at Liberty University, where has also helps direct the Center for Creation Studies.

    Interview with Dr. Bill Dembski

    Dr. William Dembski, one of the chief architects of intelligent design theory, is interviewed about the latest developments in the design controversy, with the focus on his new book, "Understanding Intelligent Design," coauthored with Sean McDowell. Dr. Dembski is also the author of ground-breaking book "The Design Inference" and co-editor (with Darwinist Michael Ruse) of "Debating Design." Both of these books were published by Cambridge University Press in Cambridge, England. In addition, he wrote three foundational books on design theory: "The Design Revolution," "Intelligent Design," and :No Free Lunch." He holds doctorates from the University of Illinois in the philosophy of science, and from the University of Chicago in mathematics.     David Berlinski, resident of Paris and star of the new Expelled documentary, holds a Ph.D. in the philosophy of mathematics from Princeton. A self-identified “secular Jew,” he earned kudos for his award-winning book A Tour of the Calculus, followed by several other books on the history of mathematics. In the past decade, has emerged as one of the most controversial and enigmatic figures who has plunged into the debate over Darwinism and Design. He is interviewed here about his new book "The Devil’s Delusion," which responds to the flood of polemical books from the “new atheists” such as Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris. With barbed wit, Berlinski explains why and how these “evangelists for atheism”--and their zealous tracts--fall flat on their intellectual faces.

    On his weekly radio show Darwin or Design, Dr. Tom Woodward interviews Dr. Jim Sire, a renowned expert in apologetics, Christian author and speaker. He wrote The Universe Next Door, a textbook on world views used at over one hundred colleges and universities in courses ranging from apologetics and world religions to history and English literature. Sire received his PhD from the University of Missouri. He has taught English, philosophy, theology and short courses at many universities and seminaries, and was formerly a senior editor at InterVarsity Press.
