Trek West 5 - A Television Podcast

About a year ago, I received the sad news that my favorite radio show, Car Talk, was ending production of new shows. A truly sad day for all radio fans. The "Car Guys" always provided a big belly laugh every week, I thought I lost a dear friend. However, nature abhors a vacuum, and I found Trek West 5. These guys produce a wonderfully witty, entertaining, and fun show. It's a shame really that they don't have more listeners. The best part is they aren't afraid to laugh at themselves (or their fans). Thanks for all the hours and hours of quality entertainment. Television: 9 Scifi: 9 Western: 5 -Listener M

This is one of the few scifi related podcasts that actually encourage listener contributions, these dudes will not only respectfully read your emails on the air, but they will also carefully craft your own personalized handle. so eschew this podcast if you are not into exploration and cultivation of meaning as illuminated through both the nitty-gritty and the sweeping overtone details that shine through a wide range of genre and/or socio polital television programing.

A perfect balance of heart and criticism as two friends joyfully review some of the greatest TV shows of all time. Great humor and love for their fans as they go out if their way to make a great experience for all. Be sure to listen to the Babylon 5 section, it is their greatest podcasts. "ding!"

these guys not only get really nerdy, but despite that, they're able to be really funny too. throw a lot of opinion and philosphy on top of that and it's not just a couple of geeks gushing. it's a stimulating debate -- even if it is "just about tv."
