    Real Sessions - JAM!! - May 2024 // 💥💥 Colin Turnbull (Live DJ Mix) @ DisruptProject Undergrunn (Underground) // Dimensional Drift ⚪️ Also on @youtube : youtube.com/@djcolinturnbull Recorded April 19th 2024 at Smien / Norway. The mix was at a live event in an old warehouse and is a throwback to old school 1990’s New York Underground Electronic Warehouse music that meets the sound of 2024. Including music by Rabbit in The Moon, Hardkiss, Hawke, Marsh, Christian Smith, Bedrock, Josh Wink, Joey Beltram, Elzace and dirtybird. 4 decks were used constantly and this was one of the most complicated mixes I have ever peformed live. There was so much that could go wrong so quickly that it was a big risk to even attempt it at live event. It’s mixed for the sound of a warehouse so some tricks do not transfer over to a recording… but it is well worth sharing. Most people will not understand how much time went into making this actually work! and thats OK 😀 Special Thanks to the artists and producers who sent me their music long before it was released!!     HIGH ENERGY ..STATE OF THE ART.. CUTTING EDGE DANCE MUSIC......on ACID (not literally....its a genre thing!!!)My first Mix using Traktor Scratch Pro... and definately a "unique" mix for me. Having not been able to mix for a while... after getting a brand new Korg KM-202 mixer with a dead headphone (cue mix) fader...I had to steal a different fader from an old Vestax PMC-05 Pro... and solder it to the Korg KM-202 circuit board (the original parts are GARBAGE!!... so i'm replacing all the faders with much higher quality ones!) But.. Now i'm set! And this is the first product of my technological advancement! A mix... definately on the Darker side.. filled with some of what i consider to be some of the most Cutting Edge dance tracks out right now!! IT'S ...ELECTRO-TECH!!
