  2. The Biblical meaning of 26. Bye 25, Happy New Year 2026.

    12/31/2025

The Biblical meaning of 26. Bye 25, Happy New Year 2026.

Goodbye 2025 (hard but necessary lessons) and Happy New Year 2026. Numbers are important and significant in the Bible. The Hebrew numerical value of 26 is God's sacred name, YHWH. It symbolizes God's divine presence and perfection. In Numbers 26, a census of Israel was taken. It marked the new generation to enter the Promised Lane - a people prepared for their inheritance of blessings from God. In 2026, we will experience God's presence with us and our inheritance of blessings as we walk in obedience to God and His Word.I also share about my "one word" for 2026, anchor, my verse, and my song ("The Anchor Holds"). What is yours? I encourage you to set aside time today or tonight to pray about the coming new year 2026, for God's presence to be with you and your family, for His protection, divine health, prosperity, wisdom, and guidance. At the end of this video, I pray for you. Have a blessed last day of 2025 and a Happy, Blessed New Year 2026.Scriptures:Numbers 26Hebrews 6:19, NLT"This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. 3. What is your one-word 2026? Here's mine, my verse, & my song

    12/21/2025

What is your one-word 2026? Here's mine, my verse, & my song

What is your one-word, your Scripture verse, and your song for 2026? At the end of each year, I look back and see what went well, what didn't, and pray about and plan for the coming new year. Usually, the way I receive the word is an impression from God, seeing or hearing a word or a phrase repeatedly, through a song, or other ways. Listen to this week's new, short episode as I share my one-word, Scripture verse, and song for 2026. Scripture references in video: Hebrews 6:19, NLT Acts 27:13-44 The book I mentioned in this episode - Walking With God: Walking Through the Valley of the Shadow (KDP eBook available for sale at Amazon): https://www.amazon.com/Walking-God-Through-Valley-Shadow-ebook/dp/B0FC17QX4R/ Thank you so much for listening today. Use your gifts in Marketplace Ministry (Herb & Diane Bishop)

Jesus told us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." We as Christian believers often think that the Kingdom of God (and using our spiritual gifts, talents, and skills) means just inside the four walls of the church that we attend. But God wants us to bring His Kingdom everywhere we go, out into the marketplace, because His Kingdom (His Holy Spirit) is inside of us. In this episode, Herb and Diane Bishop speak about the power of Marketplace Ministry, using our gifts in the world, even in their jobs as realtors. 6. Be the Light with Elizabeth Zacharias

    10/02/2025

Be the Light with Elizabeth Zacharias

In John 8:12 (ESV), Jesus said, "I AM the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” In today's episode, guest speaker Elizabeth Zacharias shares how Jesus is the Light and that we as Christian believers are to be light, too, to a world in spiritual darkness. We discuss what this means on a practical level, such as sharing God's love, kindness, and meeting needs with everyone we meet - at Walmart, the post office, the grocery store, with our spouses, our children, and others. Elizabeth Zacharias is an author, speaker, and life coach. She lives just south of Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband Dan, their two young adult daughters, and their two cats. They moved from Maine to Missouri via Wyoming 27 years ago. She graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor's of Science in Social Work degree. Elizabeth loves to write, cook, eat dark chocolate, and explore other types of cuisines and cultures. She also loves to encourage others in their life journey as they grow closer to Jesus, their Bridegroom King. She longs to see them grow emotionally and spiritually so they can become the person that God, their creator, always desired them to be in relationship with Him, since the beginning of time. Nomads for God in a schoolie (God, who do you want me to share the good news with today? Karen Wells)

If you feel hesitant or afraid to share the good news about Jesus Christ with others, a powerful prayer is to pray, "God, if you want to use me, open a door. Who do you want me to share the gospel with today? Who do you want me to talk to?" In this podcast episode, Beth M. Jones interviews Karen Wells about the gift of evangelism - how important it is for us as Christian believers to talk boldly and with God's agape love with others about Jesus and how our faith in Jesus has changed us, no matter how fearful that may feel to us. Karen and her husband Simon are driving across Canada and wherever God leads them as "nomads for the Lord in a schoolie!" Karen Wells has been married to her husband Simon for almost 37 years. She has one daughter, one son, and eight grandchildren. Although Saskatchewan, Canada is her home base, she is presently living a nomadic lifestyle with Simon, asking God to bring them to people to serve, and with whom to share the Gospel. Karen has been living for the Lord for 43 years. Your worst setback is your most incredible comeback: Tamra Schmitt

Did you know that your worst setback is your most incredible comeback? Join Beth M. Jones as she interviews Tamra Schmitt for this powerful, encouraging interview about how God can be known and praised even in the midst of the darkest, most challenging circumstances of life. Tamra's prayer through her healing journey has been, "God, please be made known in this." Tamra, a three-time cancer "thriver," is founder of Whispers from Heaven Ministries. Through her ministry, she writes and speaks to draw others into intimacy with God - one heart at a time. Tamra and her ministry team share hope through faith-based bookmarks she creates and distributes with her team. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her friends, walking in the beauty of a sunrise, and retreating at Pacem in Terris Hermitage Retreat Center. On today's show, Tamra shares about the 22 times she has traveled to Pacem to spend precious time with the Lord for a "reset" and a refreshing at one of the center's rustic, simple prayer cabins. Hear about the powerful time she encountered with Jesus on the boardwalk and when a heart-shaped leaf fell on her during her walk in nature. You will learn what to expect when you get there at Pacem, about the beauty of the acres of land there with three miles of walking trails, the fruit, cheese, and bread baskets and bottles of water you receive when you arrive as a guest, and the prayers that the staff cover you with before, during, and after your arrival. Above all, Tamra encourages you that you matter and are deeply loved by God, and to have that intimate relationship every day with Jesus. Tamra lives in her hometown of Hampton, Iowa, and her greatest blessings call her Aunt MeMe, Aunt Tamra, or Aunt Tami.
