2024 Nov Lazy Dogz Sunday Afternoon at Minh (Pt.2 Warm Embrace) Eclectic, Soulful Deep House, with some Afro house and Progressive Soulful House mashups.Live feedback was very, very warm. One comment was felt like "a warm and long embrace" (hence the title). It turned out to be very current, with 15 tracks released in 2024. Some are new remixes of favourties of ours though. There is an Easter egg in the title referring to Ben Watt (from EBTG fame) DJ sessions in another decade at the West London Notting Hill Arts Club on Sunday PM to late to eventually move to The End in central London. They are far from perfect but one dropped live and the other illustrates what we have always tried to bring a bit of soulful into Trance tracks. “Waves Without You (Extended Mix) [Qtπ Live Lil’ Mash]”. We love T. Markakis Afro track and Hayla is an amazing vocalist. It was dropped live and to our surprise there were faint vocals through the track. We had to improvise… T. Markakis aka Takos Markakis, born in Greece lives in Munich and produces anunique blend of soulful, jazzy and deep house with always some Agean feel to it. “The Oracle of Hallelujah (Original Mix) [Qtπ Live Bite of Candi Mash]”. Definitively not live, Qtπ definitiely worked on this one, not perfect but we love soooo much blending Trance and Soulful House. We hope it is passable. Finally, we love the deep dark feel of “Missing You (Original Mix)”. Lebanese DJ/Producer Moe Turk doing what few remixers can achieve, bringing a new flavour to an anthem.
