    What's Under Our Tent?

"In Joshua 7–8, we see how hidden sin can disrupt our relationship with God, how disobedience can lead to unexpected defeat, and how God calls His people to respond with humility, repentance, and renewed obedience. After Israel's victory at Jericho, an unexpected loss reveals that something is wrong within the camp. But this story reminds us that failure doesn't have to be the end of the story. God invites His people to confront their sin, trust His direction, and move forward in faith. What do we do when our failures get in the way of moving forward? Joshua 7–8 reminds us that following God requires more than outward success; it requires hearts fully surrendered to Him. Even when we fall short, God's grace points us toward restoration and a new beginning. Join us as we discover what it means to trust God's Word, walk in obedience, and keep moving forward in His purposes."

    Just Keep Walking

"What do you do when God gives you a promise, but the path forward doesn’t make sense? In Joshua 6, God calls His people to march around the walls of Jericho, trusting His instructions even when they couldn’t see how the victory would come. Sometimes faith means taking the next step when the breakthrough hasn’t happened yet. It means trusting God’s Word, obeying His voice, and believing that He is at work even when nothing seems to be changing. The walls may look impossible, but no obstacle is greater than our God. In today's message, we’re reminded that following Jesus is about trusting Him one step at a time. When the waiting gets hard, the obstacles seem too big, and the answers don’t come as quickly as we hoped, we’re called to keep walking in faith. God is faithful, His promises are true, and our job is to trust Him with the outcome. Don’t give up. Don’t lose heart. Keep praying, keep obeying, and keep moving forward. The same God who led Joshua and the Israelites is still at work today."

    When Delay Is By Design

"What if the delay isn’t a detour, but part of God’s design? In Joshua 5, we find Israel standing on the edge of a promise, yet before they move forward, God calls them to pause. Sometimes, God’s timing doesn’t look like our timing, and the waiting can leave us wondering what He’s doing. But even when it feels like nothing is happening, God is still at work. In this message, When the Delay Is Design, we’ll discover how God uses seasons of waiting to prepare us for what’s next, deepen our trust in Him, and remind us that His promises are always worth waiting for. If you’re in a season where progress feels slow and the next step isn’t clear, be encouraged: God may be doing something in the delay that you can’t yet see. At Epikos, we believe following Jesus means learning to trust Him in every season, even when His plans don’t unfold the way we expected. Join us as we explore Joshua 5 and discover how to find purpose in the pause, trust God’s process, and move forward in His timing. The delay may not mean you’re being denied. It may be part of the design."

    Crossing The Jordan

"What does it look like to trust God when He calls you to take a step into the unknown? In Joshua 3–4, the people of Israel stand at the edge of the Jordan River, preparing to enter the land God promised them. With the river before them and an uncertain future ahead, they are invited to trust God's presence, follow His leading, and move forward in faith. In the sermon, we explore what it means to trust God when the next step feels impossible and to believe that He is faithful to do what He has promised. God doesn't just lead His people through the impossible; He gives them reminders of His faithfulness along the way. As Israel builds a memorial from the stones of the Jordan, they create a way to remember what God has done and tell the story to the next generation. We all need reminders of God's faithfulness, especially when we're facing new seasons, uncertain paths, or challenges that feel bigger than us. Join us as we discover how remembering God's past faithfulness gives us courage to take our next step of faith."

    How to Move Forward

"What happens when God uses someone the world has already labeled, overlooked, or counted out? In Joshua 2, we meet Rahab—a woman with a complicated past who finds herself at the center of God’s unfolding story. Her story reminds us that God sees beyond our labels, meets us in unexpected places, and is able to redeem and renew lives in ways we never could have imagined. Joshua 2 challenges us to consider what it looks like to trust God when the path ahead is uncertain and to recognize that His purposes are bigger than our circumstances or our past. As we look at Rahab’s faith, courage, and response to the God of Israel, we’ll discover what it means to trust God, take the next step, and live as people shaped by His grace. No matter where you find yourself today, your past doesn’t have to define your future—God is still writing your story."

    Why Joshua

"Joshua 1 is a powerful reminder that following God doesn’t mean we’ll never face fear, uncertainty, or change—it means we never face them alone. As Joshua steps into a new season of leadership, God calls him to be strong, courageous, and faithful to His Word. In this message, we’ll discover what it looks like to trust God when the path ahead feels unfamiliar and to move forward knowing that His presence goes with us. Wherever you find yourself today, God is still calling you to take the next step. You may not know everything that’s ahead, but you can know who goes with you. Let’s learn from Joshua 1 how God’s presence, promises, and Word give us courage to move forward with faith."

    Make Room Part 2

"What does it look like to live differently because of the gospel? In 1 Peter 4:8–10, Peter calls us to love one another deeply, extend hospitality, and faithfully use the gifts God has given us. In a world that can easily pull us toward isolation, division, and self-focus, Jesus invites His people into something different—a community marked by grace, love, generosity, and service. God has uniquely gifted each of us, not simply for ourselves, but to build up His church and make His grace visible to the people around us. As we trust Jesus, grow together, and serve faithfully, our everyday lives become opportunities to point others toward the goodness of God. Join us as we explore what it means to love deeply, serve faithfully, and steward the gifts God has entrusted to us."

    Make Room Part 1

"What happens when we make room for God to move? In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit fills ordinary people with extraordinary power, transforming a gathering of believers into a movement that would change the world. God is still moving today—and He’s inviting us to clear out the distractions, open our hearts, and make room for His presence, His power, and His purpose. In this message, we’ll discover what it looks like to create space for the Holy Spirit to work in our lives and through our church. When we surrender control and make room for God, we make room for transformation, community, courage, and mission. Come expectant. Come ready. Make room for what God wants to do."
