Why is a Packers Pro Bowler Being "Punished"??? | Packers Weekly #157

Packers Weekly is breaking down the latest Green Bay Packers preseason action—and one Packers Pro Bowler is suddenly facing some serious questions about his role. After the Packers’ preseason matchup with the Steelers, Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton dig into the biggest takeaways, surprises, and potential roster shakeups. Why does it look like Keisean Nixon is being “punished” by Packers coaches? Is Carrington Valentine poised to challenge him for a starting cornerback job? And did St. Joseph’s Kalen King? The cornerback competition is heating up, and the film is starting to reveal which players are earning trust. The guys also dive into Jordan Morgan’s impressive performance at left tackle, the emergence of Baron Sorrell on the edge, Kyle McCord’s opportunities at quarterback, and what the preseason opener revealed about the Packers’ roster heading toward the regular season. Is Jordan Morgan ready to lock down left tackle? Is Sorrell ready for a bigger defensive role? And could the Packers already have answers to some major roster questions? What We Learned From Packers' 28-9 Loss to Steelers | Lemps Talkin' Pack #253

Lemps Talkin' Pack is back, and the Green Bay Packers are officially underway! Chris Lempicis kicks off Season 9 — and the show's first-ever LIVE episode — with a full breakdown of Green Bay's 28-9 preseason loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Don't let the final score fool you: there was plenty to discuss. Jordan Love and the starting offense got a brief look, Jaden Reed made an early impact, and Trey Smack provided one of the night's biggest highlights with his booming field goals. On defense, the Packers flashed some intriguing potential, including a sack involving Edgerrin Cooper and Lukas Van Ness, while the new-look defense under Jonathan Gannon continues to generate plenty of questions — especially with Micah Parsons sidelined. But perhaps the biggest concern coming out of Pittsburgh? Offensive line depth, particularly at guard, and whether it could become the thing that holds back what Chris believes could otherwise be a top-five Packers offense. Plus, Chris answers fan questions, talks Packers training camp, Jordan Love's potential jump, the defensive outlook before Parsons returns, and much more. Smack Talk and Depth Perception | Cheesehead Radio #385

The Packers opened the 2026 preseason with a 28-9 loss to Pittsburgh, which would be concerning if anyone with a functioning pulse cared about preseason final scores. Green Bay actually led 9-7 late in the third before the bottom of the roster took over and the evening became a live-action waiver-wire seminar. So CD Angeli and Jersey Al skip the faux outrage and get to the useful stuff. Trey Smack was the obvious star, effectively going 4-for-4 with two 58-yard bombs and briefly convincing Packer Nation that kicking may no longer require ritual sacrifice. Kyle McCord also helped himself considerably, Jordan Morgan looked increasingly comfortable at left tackle, Lukas Van Ness and Brenton Cox flashed off the edge, and Jonathan Gannon showed a refreshing willingness to attack rather than spend August hiding the defense under a tarp. Then there are the less soothing developments. Brandon Cisse looks very real, which is great unless you're Keisean Nixon, whose starting job suddenly appears to be part of an actual competition. Jager Burton is making Aaron Banks' return to left guard less automatic than expected. The reserve offensive line remains unsettling. Jaylin Simpson had a night he'd probably prefer deleted from the cloud. And Green Bay's much-discussed roster depth may be less “deep everywhere” than “please don't get hurt at certain positions.” CD and Al sort through all of it: Marshawn Lloyd's return, Skyy Moore's sudden usefulness, the developing corner battle, the offensive-line shuffle, whether Kyle McCord has already seized QB3, and what actually matters heading into Denver. Also, CD manages to bring up the championship window almost immediately, Brian Gutekunst continues to insist windows aren't real, and two old Italians briefly derail a Packers podcast debating how to pronounce nonno. Football is back. The score doesn't matter. The roster questions absolutely do. Welcome to Season 18 of Cheesehead Radio.🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your Packers fix. Packers vs Steelers: What to Look For & Who May Lose Their Jobs | No Huddle Radio #284

No Huddle Radio is breaking down the biggest questions surrounding the Green Bay Packers as preseason football arrives! With the Packers preparing for their preseason opener against the Steelers, Gil Martin and Sean Tehan examine which players have the most to prove and which presumed starters could actually be fighting for their jobs. Is Anthony Belton in danger of losing his starting job on the offensive line? Could Jacob Monk or rookie Jaeger Burton push their way into the lineup? The cornerback battle is just as fascinating, with Carrington Valentine, Keisean Nixon, and the impressive rookie Brandon Cisse competing for snaps — and potentially starting roles. The hosts also discuss Jordan Morgan's promising move back to left tackle, the impact of the Packers' rookie class, Trey Smack's development, and which young players could make an immediate impact. Then it's time to look ahead to Pittsburgh: Which Packers starters should play? Who should stay on the sideline? How much should we see Jordan Love, the offensive line, the young corners, and new defensive pieces? Plus, the guys discuss injuries, Matt LaFleur's challenge-flag duties, and much more! Family Night Fallout: Packers Training Camp HEATS UP | Packers Weekly #156

Packers Weekly is back with a deep dive into the Green Bay Packers as Training Camp Week 2 heats up and the fallout from Family Night reveals some fascinating changes across the roster. Was Family Night too sloppy to matter, or did it expose some issues the Packers need to fix before the preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers? The biggest story may be accountability. Matt LaFleur is emphasizing mistakes and penalties, while several players are discovering that starting jobs aren't guaranteed. Keyshawn Nixon is suddenly battling for his place in the Packers secondary, while Brandon Cisse continues to make a strong push. On the offensive line, Anthony Belton's grip on the right guard job is slipping as Jacob Monk and Jagger Burton emerge as legitimate challengers. Meanwhile, the Packers' defensive line is becoming one of the most intriguing position battles in camp. Anthony Campbell, Jameson Williams? No — Stackhouse, Warren Brinson, McClellan and others are making plays and forcing Green Bay to make difficult roster decisions. Add in the exciting development of Matthew Golden, the emergence of young talent, and Jonathan Gannon's aggressive defensive scheme, and there is plenty to discuss.
