Best show in the city!

When the Score started, it was humorous dialogue all day long. Now the morning and mid day shows are a bunch of angry old men that never have an ounce of fun. David Haugh is sucking the life out of this station. Parkins and Spiegel are the last bastion of the old Score and it’s great. It’s sport talk for goodness sake…have fun with it!

Best Sports Talk Show in Chicago

I’ve been a fan and listener of Parkins & Spiegel ever since the show started in 2017 (totally different show), and have listened to at least a portion of every episode since then. I particularly gravitate to Parkins since we’re about the same age and I agree with many of his takes (I mean, he was only 3 months ahead of the rest of Chicago on Caleb Williams being drafted by the Bears) but I love the whole show. Chris and Shane are also integral to the show, it would literally not be the same without them.

My only complaint about the show is that they sometimes “rush” through some of their recurring segments, such as Categories or Parkins vs Parkins vs Spiegel vs Spiegel. I ALWAYS want those segments to be longer, feel free to give them more room to breathe!

I just want to add, that since I’m writing this review on draft day, I am giddy with excitement for Tanny to play the drop “well, it is draft day” . Please play it as many times as humanly possible, it cracks me up every time.

Also, my other favorite more recent drop is the “you should know his name!”, which I could use more of as well. But that’s just me.

Seriously, love you guys, please keep up the great show!
