The Scotty Mason Show - The ORIGINAL Model Railroad Podcast!

I like these gents - really do, but there are certain aspects that don’t work for me for sure. I have a strict “If you don’t have something nice to say….” policy, but I thought this might be helpful for someone. This is a great podcast if you’re looking for something that replicates hobby shop chit-chat. These are friendly and VERY knowledgeable guys with a lot to offer, but they also talk about other things like…the weather. :) The loose format is good for having on while working and there is content in there, you’re just not always sure when it’s going to show up in your feed! :)

If you are into model railroading then you need to subscribe to this podcast. Great production quality and very useful information.

I am a newbie to the hobby and am thrilled about this show. It allows me to hear about mrr artists as well as become familiar with mrr terminology. Please keep this show coming for years to come!

This use to be a very good podcast about Model Railroading, however these days it has degenerated into a waffle session that mentions trains while the hosts fall off the track into an inevitale train wreck of personal rants. The Noise to Signal ratio has gotten to a point that the show could be edited down to 30 minutes from its blotted 2 hours and not loose anything of substance. The only saving grace is that they stay (mostly) away from religion and politics.
