This is a fantastic podcast for anyone into Dieselpunk and geek culture. From films reviews to board games, Big Daddy Cool takes you through the future as seen through the lens of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s.

Those who love the Avengers need to check this out! John has an encyclopedic knowledge of all eras of Avengers greatness. Really enjoy hearing his take on most powerful and most overlooked Avengers. Took me back to some eras and characters I haven't thought about in years! Keep it up John!!

The Diesel Powered Podcast is a family-friendly, casual conversation about the world of diesel-punk. It kind of reminds me of something between an 'ain't-it-cool-news' view into aspects of 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s and the stylistic progeny they begat, or an alternate-history-channel talk show. It offers retro stylings and hosts who do a good job looking into the corners of the past, present and alternate futures for diesel elements, then presenting them in a fun and interesting way. They pack the episodes full of film noir, gangsters, comics, World War 2, pulp heroes, Lovecraft, music of the diesel era, local diesel gatherings, trivia and the obscure. There are even vocabulary lessons. They devote time to independent projects and help build awareness of cool stuff often overlooked in traditional media and mainstream marketing channels. It's inclusive and approachable. Sure it's rough around the edges, but I think that’s part of its charm. Whether you're new to diesel or a card carrying diesel fan there is something for you in this podcast. Enjoy.
