Episode 30 - Lee Walker

As we approach the end of 2014 to say young Middlesbrough resident Lee Walker has had an enjoyable year would be an understatement. In January 2014, he had a 6 track EP signed to his favourite label, ”Little Helpers” and has since been pushing his own brand of Minimal infused Tech House. This year has also seen him release on Mile End Records and Moustache label among others with both original work and remixes. He also has an EP on the way on Mile End Records featuring a remix from ViVa Warriors top girls, ”Anek” which is due for release in early December 2014.

Episode 28 - Chris Cue and Adam Todd

Chris hailing from the north east has been on the DJ circuit since 2006 taking up regular slots at the well establish B.R.A techno nights in his early 20's then leading on to his own brand EDIT then onto a becoming a firm favourite at Birmingham's Eclectricity alongside CLR's Rebekah. EcLectricity gave Chris the chance to be billed for showcases like Cocoon, Desolat and Sci-tec. Stepping into the music scene, Techno was always the sound that stood out for chris, it was the short loops and driving energy that got him hooked. In 2011 Chris joined forces with Adam & Adrian Fairless, and SAMPLE entered Newcastle's strong House & Techno scene and gave it, debut act's like Martinez Brothers, Art Department and Guti to name a few over the years. Since then Chris has established himself alot more within todays music industry securing management from Alchimia Booking agency, Original releases on his own vinyl imprint Tough Luck Records and remix work for Sequential Recordings and Walk & Talk Records. Adam Todd also hailing from North East, only put his first record on the platter only a few years ago and it all came natural from there, the avid vinyl collector thrives on keeping his music knowledge fresh and upto date and pulls inspiration for his mixes and dj sets from the likes producers SHED and Answer Code Request. Adam joined SAMPLE one year in, and help push the brand, and get Digital Newcastle packed out on few occasions over the years !!

System2 was born out of a desire to produce & perform music that meant something to its creators. They, being no strangers to the industry decided to stop their previous work under a name they'd been using for 10 years, go back to the start & have a fresh outlook on it all. Our love for vinyl & our love for the System2 sound has led us to this new chapter, with our very own label behind us from the start, System2 aims to bring something different to the industry. Raw Underground Records head honcho DomSamba delivers Episode 24 of the Motion Podcast series. Having recently played alongside the likes of Waifs & Strays, Darius Syrossian, Pete Tong & The Martinez Brothers and with a diary already filling up with dates for 2014, your sure to be seeing a lot more of him in the near future! He's had his own material and remixes released on labels such as; Attraction Music, Freshart, Dog Records, Criminal Hype, All Over It Records, Gooseneck Records and his own Raw Underground Records.
