The Axe Bomber Podcast has officially arrived on the Chairshot Radio Network, as Greg DeMarco and Andrew Balaz launch a new weekly wrestling show built around whatever parts of the wrestling world have their attention. For the premiere episode, Greg and Andrew explain why now was the right time to add another wrestling podcast to the network and what they want Axe Bomber to become. Rather than forcing every promotion into a rigid rundown, the show gives them room to focus on the matches, wrestlers and stories worth talking about. That starts with Penta challenging Roman Reigns in the main event of Raw. Penta did not get the win, but Greg and Andrew break down why the match still mattered for his standing in WWE. They also dig into the debate over “no-selling,” and why Roman and Penta’s work told a very different story than the kind of move-for-move exchanges that usually draw that criticism. The conversation then shifts to El Grande Americano winning the AAA Mega Championship. Ludwig Kaiser has fully committed to the gimmick, and Greg and Andrew look at why it continues to work, how WWE and AAA are maintaining continuity across brands, and where the character could go next. The premiere also introduces Axe Bomber’s rotating weekly spotlights. Andrew checks in on MLW, where delayed television and an uneven presentation have him questioning the promotion’s current direction. Greg turns his attention to NXT, particularly Grayson Waller, whose heel work and promo style are becoming one of the strongest parts of the brand. There is also time for JCW, with its mix of hardcore wrestling, soap-opera chaos and low-budget absurdity, along with a look at TNA, Nick Nemeth’s championship run, Leon Slater’s rise, and the value of keeping certain moves and moments special.
