I'm a new listener to Authors are ROCKSTARS! (having been introduced to the show this past weekend at the YA in the Sun event in San Diego) and so far I'm having a blast with it! Michelle and Allison are engaging hosts with a knack for keeping their guests talking, laughing, and sharing. I've only just begun to catch up on episodes, but so far their conversation with Libba Bray has been a highlight for me, as she is an amazing author and public speaker and was just as funny on the podcast as she is in person. The show really seems to do a good job overall of finding top flight authors in the YA (and occassionally MG) field to interview, and has also made some book recommendations that have caught by interest. But what really separates this podcast from others in the same genre is that, as a listener, you are also treated to an ecclectic sampling of musical suggestions from Michelle and Allison at the end of their episodes. I've already heard a few artists and songs to whom I would not have normally given a try, so I'm discovering not only great reads, but great listens at the same time. Thanks to Authors are ROCKSTARS! for putting on a great show! Looking forward to the next episode!
