Negative World Podcast 059 - Nintendo Indirect

It's been a long cold winter... and it's been hard on the ol' Fink. He hopes you enjoy this long overdue episode feature and the company of his buddies Joe (Ninsage) and Grant (GameDadGrant). There are just a ton of games to talk about this episode. Project X Zone, the Pokemon Bank, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Mario Golf: World Tour, Mario Kart 8, Yoshi's New Island, and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy for starters... and that's me only listing every other one! Between what we've been playing and what was in February 2014's Nintendo Direct, there's just a ton to discuss... so much so that we don't even have a break for a song. Of course still we have to give a big thanks to Zero for the theme music. Please comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, hosts, etc. on Negative World! Negative World Podcast 058 - Danny and Captain Lou

Happy New Year! The first episode of the Negative World Podcast for 2014 has released! It's a doozy too! Packed full of content, Stephen (DrFinkelstein) and Joe (Ninsage) are joined by, Andrew (Zero) for another 150+ minute episode. After some welcome-back-banter, the fellas tackle a whopping eight different games they're all playing. These range from some of the hot-items like Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds to some older titles like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Steamworld Dig. After the 90 or so minutes of that, there's an hour-long discussion of the old Super Mario cartoons from the early 1990s. The gang remembers, reflects, rejoices, and re-considers what worked or didn't work in the three different cartoon series' that hit the US shores back then. They also fondly remember Captain Lou Albano and 'Danny Wells'. This discussion is an extension of the special audio treat found in Episode 57 of the show. With that said, Andrew has prepared a finessed version of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show theme song as performed by our beloved Negative World members. Be sure to give it a listen, whether in the episode or via the download link below. A big thanks to Zero for the theme music as usual. This episode showcases some classic tracks from Super Mario World in the interludes. Please comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, hosts, etc. on Negative World! Negative World Podcast 057 - The Koopa with the Pink Sunglasses

Happy New Year's Eve! It's been over a month since the last podcast despite we recorded this in early December. Between a very busy week immediately after recording and then the holidays, I apologize but I hope this episode finds you well. Today is the last day of 2013 and I made a promise to you and the myself that this would release before the year's end. DrFinkelstein and Ninsage are joined by an old friend, Roykoopa64, the Koopa with the pink sunglasses. The show starts with something special and ends with something special so please stay tuned throughout! As for what's inside... you'll find the guys talk about Super Mario 3D World, Pokemon X&Y, as well as The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. After a shorter round of Box Art Trivia, they dive in to a lengthy discussion of the games they've played this past year. A big thanks to Negative World's creator, Zero for the theme music. This episode showcases some great tracks from Super Mario 3D World in the interludes. Please comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, hosts, etc. on Negative World! Negative World Podcast 056 - Pokemon N&W

The Negative World crew goes Poke-crazy in this Pokemon-centric episode. Clocking in at over two and a half hours, there's enough podcast to fill a Snorlax's belly! DrFinkelstein and Ninsage invite two of Negative World's finest, Super_Conzo and Deathly_Hallows. The thing is, they're both new to the Pokemon series with Pokemon X&Y. At first we get a glimpse into what their current Pokemon rosters look like. Considering everybody starts off in the same place, there is surprising diversity between everyone. Then the gang dives into the nitty gritty of Pokemon and specifically Pokemon X&Y. From the graphics to the Pokemon typing, and even an interesting look at the true potential of the Mega Evolution concept, this podcast has something for everyone. A big thanks to Negative World's creator, Zero for the theme music. This episode lacks interlude music because there's just so much content, I couldn't bare to pad it further with music. Though I highly recommend to check out the various Pokemon soundtracks. They're quite stellar. Please comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, hosts, etc. on Negative World! Negative World Podcast 055 - Tadpole in the Family

Episode 55 is a special episode indeed, and not just for repeating numbers... DrFinkelstein and Ninsage sit down with Negative World's own TriforceBun (Matthew Taranto) in an extended interview. For the first half, the trio discusses Matthew's webcomic, Brawl In The Family... which as of this podcast publishing contains 525 comics! The second half of the show is an in-depth look at the heart and soul of Matthew's new game, Tadpole Treble. He just launched a Kickstarter and so far it's going strong. Will you support Matthew and Tadpole Treble? You can do so at the Tadpole Treble Kickstarter Page. Listen to find out what makes this music-rhythm game unique and why it isn't quite a prequel to Blaster Master... despite the hopes and dreams of Ninsage. A big thanks to Negative World's creator, Zero for the theme music. This episode lacks interlude music, but the special inclusion you hear at the start is actually a piece of Matthew's The History of Nintendo, a special animated webcomic he did for the 400th comic milestone. Negative World Podcast 054 - Wind Woken

"As wide as the world is, I am the only boat upon it who can speak the words of men." - King of Red Lions This episode brings you a uniquely formatted change of pace, somewhat. First off you'll hear DrFinkelstein, Ninsage and another newcomer, Hero_Of_Hyrule. That's the third new guest in a row! Awesome! This time around, instead of doing a Now Playing series of discussions the guys tackle a Group Review-like-like discussion of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker considering the HD Remake released just in the past handful of weeks. Then with that wrapped up, the gang hits upon some key topics from the Nintendo Direct held on October 1st. A big thanks to Negative World's creator, Zero for the intro and outro themes. The interlude music is from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker of course! Please comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, hosts, etc. on Negative World!
