Flaunt! Find Your Sparkle & Create a Life You Love After Infidelity or Betrayal with Lora Cheadle:

How Much Truth Do You Really Need? “The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.” After betrayal, you might feel desperate to know everything. Who was she? How long did it last? What happened? Did he love her? Is he finally telling you everything? And at the exact same time, you might desperately wish you could unknown all of it. You want yesterday back. You want your memories back. You want a business trip to just be a business trip. You want your marriage, your husband, and your reality back. That push-pull is one of the hardest parts of betrayal: Tell me everything. Please don't tell me that. But how much truth do you really need? In this episode, we're talking about the difference between truth and certainty, why some information is essential for your health, safety, finances, and decision-making, and why knowing one more detail doesn't necessarily make you feel safer. I'm also sharing a deeply personal moment from about 18 months after discovery, when I realized there was one question I had never asked my husband. When I finally asked it, his answer was painful. But instead of destroying me, the truth gave me something real to stand on. Because eventually, the most important question may no longer be, “What else don't I know about him?” It may be: What is true for me now? Top 3 Takeaways Truth and certainty are not the same thing. After betrayal, it's natural to search for information because your reality has been shattered. But at some point, the search for truth can become a search for certainty, and no amount of information can guarantee that you'll never be blindsided again. You can want the truth and wish you could unknow it at the same time. Part of what you're grieving may be the loss of not knowing. Before discovery, your life made sense. Healing isn't about pretending you never learned the truth. It's reaching a place where knowing it no longer destroys you. Eventually, his truth has to lead you back to your own. What do you need to know? What would need to happen for reconciliation to be possible? What are you willing and unwilling to live with? What do you want? You may never know every detail, but you can reach a place where you know enough and, most importantly, where you know and trust yourself Favorite Quotes “Maybe the truth that ultimately sets you free isn't finally knowing everything he did. Maybe it's finally knowing what you're going to do with what you know.” If FLAUNT! has helped you through betrayal, make sure you're subscribed, and please leave a quick comment or review. Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour with Mariam Massaro: #685

Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #685 is an hour of visionary, improvised acoustic music played dynamically by The Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro on vocals, harmonica, Native flute, mandolin, ukulele, acoustic guitar, mandolin and dulcimer, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and Native drum. Recorded live at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts in late August of 2026, today’s show begins with the mystical, slow rocker “Oh The Glory Of Another Day”, a mesmerizing piece led by Craig’s fundamental low drum pulse and Mariam’s chiming dulcimer before easing into the languid, aching “Standing Ones Of Peace”, a pretty love ballad with a fine, leaping melody from Mariam and fine accompaniment from the whole ensemble. “Open Every Day” is a Ray Charles-like blues with hypnotic piano motifs and rocking solo harmonica from Mariam and “Smile” is a beautiful folk song led by Mariam’s rhythmic ukulele strumming and dancing, wide-intervaled melody. “Happy I Am” is another powerfully mesmerizing, mystical piece, this time framed by Mariam’s chiming mandolin and a deep, booming piano motif from Bob that subcommunicates a deeply buried, obscured power in contrast with Mariam’s gossamer, dancing melody. “Soldaygo” is a lush, meditative prayer featuring gorgeous Native flute passages from Mariam and Craig’s heartbeat Native drum. Today’s hour finishes with an energized, rhythmic medley of two songs from Mariam, “Always In Love” and “Sailing Down The Waves Of Life”, close the show with a powerful, driving groove supported by steady conga work from Craig. Make Mental Health Matter with Kelli Melissa Reinhardt: What If One Conversation Could Save a Life?

Kelli Melissa Reinhardt: What If One Conversation Could Save a Life? September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and in this powerful and deeply personal episode of the Make Mental Health Matter Show, host Kelli Melissa Reinhardt opens an important conversation about suicide prevention, self-injury, caregiving, and the difference each of us can make in someone else's life. After kicking things off with a little Labor Day humor, including the irony that many of our hardworking laborers still have to work on Labor Day, Kelli turns to a topic that has touched her life personally and profoundly. Drawing from her own experiences with her sister, two cousins, and her personal history with cutting when she was younger, Kelli shares why recognizing the signs that someone may be struggling matters. She talks about what to look for, what we can say, how to start difficult conversations, and why simply listening without trying to fix everything can be one of the most powerful ways to support someone. Kelli also breaks down the difference between suicidal behavior and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury, or NSSI, helping remove some of the misconceptions surrounding self-injury while sharing part of her own story. But supporting others can take a toll, too. This episode also explores the importance of caring for ourselves as caregivers, setting boundaries, finding support, and remembering that we cannot pour endlessly from an empty cup. This isn't just an episode about suicide awareness. It's about connection. It's about paying attention. It's about having conversations we may be afraid to have. And it's about understanding that you don't have to be a mental health professional to listen, care, ask the question, and help connect someone to support. You never know when one conversation, one question, or one person choosing to stay and listen could make all the difference. If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis in the U.S., call or text 988 to connect with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, contact emergency services in your area. Together, we can create conversations that save lives and #MakeMentalHealthMatter.
