Podcast Francais Authentique

I enjoy Johan’s enthusiasm and talents as a teacher. I especially enjoy his chats with his children. They are always interesting and entertaining. Overall, a quality podcast! Highly recommend.

I’ve listened to Français Authentique since shortly after moving to Belgium in 2015, and after I moved back to the U.S. in 2020 I have continued to listen. This podcast is always fresh with great new content about French language, culture, idioms, and Johann’s varied experiences and interests. I definitely credit this podcast for helping me develop the comprehension skills I was so lacking when I first moved to Brussels. Now, listening has simply become a part of my regular routine, and I sort of think of Johan as a friend I’ve never actually met in person. I keep coming back because through his content I can feel that Johan is a genuinely kind person whose positive energy really lifts me up, and the Marcher avec Johan episode is something I really look forward to every week. Merci beaucoup!!! I never tire of listening to this wonderful program. It is as if friends are getting together and having a heartfelt discussion. My French has improved so much, and I find that while watching French language programs, I need to view the English translations less and less. I love walking with Johan episodes the most! May 2024 be a fantastic year for this program and it’s listeners!
