    Deluca Solves The Mystery On Richard's Illness... - S16 E21 'Grey's Anatomy' Recap & Review

    In the Season finale of Grey's Anatomy, Meredith and Deluca team up to figure out Richard's illness. Most doctors including Maggie assume its Alzheimer's but Meredith disagrees. Right before Richard is released from the hospital he starts experiencing numbness in both his hands and feet; plus sensitive to touch. Deluca is able to figure out that Richard has cobalt poisoning from a hip replacement which can cause symptoms of dementia and hallucinations. Meredith sticks up for Deluca convincing Bailey that he earns a spot in the operating room. Amelia's water breaks and while Link is called into surgery to help Richard; Bailey helps Amelia deliver her baby boy. Tom begs Teddy to not go through with the wedding. Owen receives a voicemail hearing Teddy hooking up with Tom. Owen blindsides Teddy and cancels the wedding without letting her know.     What’s Happening To Richard? - S16 E20 'Grey's Anatomy' Recap & Review

    This episode of Grey’s Anatomy kicks off with some of our favorite doctors coming together to figure out what’s wrong with Richard Webber. Since we last saw Richard his condition has not improved, and the media is making a joke about it. Katherine is having a tough time dealing with what Richard’s condition, and realizes she was wrong for what she put him through. An intense moment happens between Meredith and Richard, where she finds him in the operating room about to perform surgery on himself. Meredith is able to talk him out of it, and we end with DeLuca, whose suspended from the hospital, and  Meredith trying to figure out what’s happening to to their friend. Elsewhere Tom gets a visit from his ex-wife and her son, who looks exactly like Tom’s son who passed away years ago. She tells him he has cancer and it’s spreading. Tom is the only doctor that she wants to operate on her son, but The resemblance is too much for Tom and gets Amelia to perform the surgery. While is Surgery Amelia starts having contractions, and thinks she’s about to give birth. She leaves  it all up to Tom. Teddy sees that Tom is not in the right head space and gives him a pep talk, giving him the motivation he needed to save the boy.  After Tom and Teddy have a flirtatious moment alone, she rushes to Owen and tells him she’s all in  and wants to get married as soon as possible. Elsewhere Amelia finds out it was a false alarm. Link who not to long ago treated a patient who couldn't stop singing, is there to comfort her. They both lie on the bed waiting for when that special day will come that will change their lives forever. When he takes the stage and starts giving his speech the doctors notice his strange behavior and rush him to the hospital. Teddy runs into Claire (her old roommate from New York) and they talk about Allison; who was not only a love interest to Claire but to Teddy as well. Dr. Hayes has flashbacks of meeting his wife and the struggles they faced when she passed away from cancer. Maggie has a new fling with another doctor who was her resident.     It was another day of drama in the world of Grey’s Anatomy. DeLuca is back at work and dealing with a patient who he thinks is a child trafficking victim. Once word gets out many of the doctors think this is DeLuca’s mania making him think like this. After a public meltdown he threatens to quit unless they check with the authorities about the child and the woman she was with. Plot twist,  it seems like DeLuca was right all along. Amelia tells everyone the good news that Link is the father to her child. Everyone is happy except for Teddy who has still not told Owen she slept with Hunt.  Meanwhile it seems like Schmitt and Niko are done. This comes after Niko gets offered a dream job. Schmitt sees this as an issue that needs to be discussed, but Niko isn’t having it and casually ends the relationship.     Good vs. Bad Decisions for Grey’s Anatomy - S16 E17

    While dealing with both of their breakups, Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Link (Chris Carmack) have to rescue a boy that was going to give up everything for his girlfriend and then got hit by a train. After surgery, Jo realizes that love does not suck and she will rise again and make Alex (Justin Chambers) regret his decision to leave her. Jo even convinces Link to go back to Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and they get back together and we find out that the baby daddy is… Link’s! Speaking of baby daddies, Teddy (Kim Raver) tells Owen (Kevin McKidd) that Amelia’s baby might be his. Still feeling like number 2, she goes right back into Tom’s (Greg Germann)  arms AGAIN and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) has to put her in her place after she tried to judge Amelia for keeping the pregnancy a secret. Hooking up with an engaged woman isn’t the only bad thing Tom is doing. Tom decides to help out a sleazy Billionaire who is investing in the hospital. Tom lies about the Billionaire’s diagnosis just to make money and keep him out of jail. Meanwhile Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) sees right through the Billionaire and is more concerned about her other patient who can’t afford medication because she’s spending her money taking care of her family. As for family, Miranda (Chandra Wilson) is trying to figure out what's going on with Richard (James Pickens Jr.) and he only tells her that he’s quitting surgery and then she tells Meredith. Jackson (Jesse Williams) breaks up with Vic. Lastly, DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) is still struggling with his mental health and even Jo has to tell him to go and get help.     Grey’s Anatomy bids farewell to one of the show’s original characters, Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers). The doctor fans loved to hate and hated to love wrote letters to Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Richard Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) and Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington). The letters reveal that he has moved to a farm in Kansas with none other than his life-long lost love, Izzie Stevens - who fans haven’t seen on the show since 2010. In addition to the news, Karev also revealed that the two have twins - a boy and a girl which is ultimately his reason for leaving Seattle-Grace behind for good.     A winter storm brings on some drama for our doctors on this episode of grey’s anatomy. Meredeth is still worried about Deluca. This comes after he  decides to brave the freezing cold in order to get a kidney for Dr. haze’ patient. Things take a turn for the worse when he returns with his hands in bad shape from the freezing cold. Meanwhile we find out that teddy had a gut feeling all along that Amelia’s baby might be Owens. A patient pretends to be a doctor and fools the entire staff, and Miranda and joey grow closer after she invites him to stay with her family. Maggie helps Amelia as she is lying in bed depressed over her situation with Link. Amelia breaks up with Link and decides to not take the test and to  never tell Owen about the baby situation. Foster boy reunites with his family thanks to Bailey. Richard is still depressed about his failing marriage with Catherine.
